RE: Greyhound shipped plane, LOST! , HELP!
The plane could be anywhere. As Greyhound explained to me items shipped with them rarely ever get a direct route. They are shuffled from bus to bus and station to station. The item could be hundreds of miles off track and may take many weeks because as someone else stated they go on as space is available. Now for the Paypal issue. I am not sure how well the buyer or seller protection is for off Ebay purchases but I do know for a fact that any transaction on Ebay that is over $250 must be mailed with signature confirmation or Ebay/Paypal will stand behind buyer and not the seller. I know this for a fact. I sold a guy in Michigan an item and sent it UPS. The tracking number showed it delivered to his house and stated the item was delivered to front door. The buyer filed an item not received case and his total payment of $746 was refunded to him because there was no proof it was actually him that received it. Hidden pages deep under part 3 of section D (or some crazy crap like that) is a clause stating any item over $250 must have signature confirmation. Now the kicker is the day after Paypal refunded his money he filed and item not as described case against me saying there was a bad gear and Paypal refunded his money again. Ebay/Paypal are a bunch of crooks as much as this guy I sold to if you ask me and I have no faith on Paypal at all anymore. Anyway that is my 2 cents and I hope this helps someone who doesn't know about the $250 policy. I hope the plane is found and still intact and undamaged. No one takes pride in their work now days and its just plain sad that there is no customer service and so many crooked people in this world.

Carl Goldbergh Ultimate 10-300
I am looking for a Goldbergh Ultimate 10-300 kit or arf. If anyone has one please contact me. This is my favorite airplane but mine needs replaced. It is so fuel soaked from years of flight that it is unflyable now. Please help! My name is Randy and my number is 217-473-6069. Please leave a message if I don't answer. Call anytime day or night.

RE: BTE Venture 60
anyone done this plane electric? Time was this size of plane was just too expensive to do with Lipo and brushless but it seems to me this would make an ideal lightweight electric platform for 600 to 900 watts if built with a flying weight of 5 or 6 lbs

RE: NO SELLING - JUST COMPARE FUTABA 8FG TO A9 HITEC
i agree - i think all 3 are different but more or less even steven ... i went with the A9 primarily for the lower Rx prices - i don't believe i've taken a gamble here - although it's well known that the Futaba gear is 100% field proven ans so represents no risk whatsoever i also think the T8FG radio looks and prolly feels better - but i think i will also really like the A9... since i'm on a budget my wallet will certainly look and feel better

How does the A9 make use of the 9 proportional channels? The 8fg has the gimbals, two sliders and 2 volume knobs which adds up to 8 the A9 only has the gimbals and sliders - adding up to 6, that leaves 3 channels without proportional control...or am i missing something?
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer I think you can get an E36 M3 for low-10s or even below $10k.. and E46 in the $20s..
ORIGINAL: AutoXMan I would love an M3 of any year.

You can even get an E36 for $5k if you look in the right places. Albeit mileage is rather high; but your prices are definitely accurate. My uncle has an E36-M3. Fun car, and I really like it. However the E36 (and earlier generation BMWs) have terrible electronics. On the note of BMWs; the X6 is terrible it reminds me of an expensive version of the Pontiac Aztec and I am confused as to what would obligate somebody to buy that thing.
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer That's not bad.. I'd guess the CF parts would be a lot more expensive.. $3500 ain't bad at all.. (for most of the panels.. !) Yeah, some of the Porsche parts are silly $$$.. for example, if I were to get the RS CF wing for my car, it would be more than $3,500 just for the wing blade.. (I think it is $4000+ new from Porsche)
Pfff. If you think Porsche is bad look at what Novitec charges to do up an F430. It's like $60,000 for a supercharger.

RE: FEW RUNS IN MY SPOON SPORTS ITR...
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer Yes, Cayman S drives really well.. can certainly handle more power.. easier to drive fast than a 911.. !! I think the RS4/6 are too heavy.. RS4 is like 3800-3900+ lbs, right?! Crazy...
Yea man it's a bit bloated, weighs around 3700 lbs (still lighter then the GT-R and M3). I'm just saying though, the RS4/6 is perfect in my eyes of a sports car you can drop your kids off at school in, get groceries, run errands, and take through the back roads. I just feel like buying a car in the VW group offers so much technology with the amount of thinking they have circulating in all their companies. Obviously it's not an unadulterated full on sports car, but still a hell of a lot of versatility for the price.

RE: FEW RUNS IN MY SPOON SPORTS ITR...
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer Well, GT-R packs a lot of stuff for its price.. cheap? No.. but to equal its performance, you'd need stuff that's even more $$$, so... I guess it is a ''good value''.. ha ha! The new Cayman can be ordered w/ LSD now.. (09+) So that's a step in the right direction! Turbo would be interesting.. my wife wants one.. ha ha! But for me, they are all too fast anyway.. so I stick w/ NA motor.. ha ha!!
Yea I read about the 09 LSD option. Porsche is trying to keep the Cayman as diluted as they can though. The mid-engine provides great handling and I've heard it performs on par with the base 911; which I guess is why Porsche themselves have not released a turbo version. I suppose they don't want a lesser car outshining it's legacy. I'd take either one though! [:D] But personally; in my opinion the perfect car is the Audi RS4/RS6; family car in the day, and at night the full moon comes out. [8D]

RE: FEW RUNS IN MY SPOON SPORTS ITR...
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer I think R8 weights too much... I hope they would do a lightweight sport version, w/ RWD only!
You and I both know how much Audi loves their Quattro though. I still think the car looks amazing and I'm sure it drives at least half as good. The GT-R is very expensive, it costs far more then I ever anticipated it would when they announced it. I like the Cayman it's pretty nifty, especially with the LSD; and with a turbo package it would be pretty intense for it's caliber. However, as a diehard Porsche fan it's hard to consider something outside the 911. I'd love to own a 97 993 Twin Turbo. That car is a performance machine even compared to many newer cars, but they fetch a pretty penny.

I'm curious as to what Honda has up their sleeves to replace it though considering they dropped the NSX a while ago, and they finally dropped the S2K after talking about dropping it for years.

I always liked the NSX. It looks amazing. I'm also a fan of the Lotus Esprit though. The Elise is a cool little go-kart, very race inspired interior; of course no luxury amenities inside though. I'm not sold on the GT-R. I would take the R8 personally.

However, there is a new wheel manufacturer born everyday, and a plethora of great looking wheels are on the market now, so it's hard to look at one brand considering all the wheels on the market. They even have a magazine dedicated solely to wheels.

RE: B44 Solid drive shaft, or 501x belt ?...
i went with the D4 after a lot of research i like the shaft drive, the super smooth shocks and the top of the line chassis What swung me away from the B44 was the edgy handling that it has a reputation for if you are on a budget then the ZX5 SP or B max-4 or a hopped up Durga are the obvious choices - personally i'd go for the B max-4 but there's precious little between those cars except that you'd have to get at least a slipper for the Durga Reason i didn't go with 501x was price and also the higher maintenance belt drive - to be sure belt drive has its advantages but unless you are racing at pro level then i don't think you will notice for me the D4 ticked all the boxes, is at a reasonable price and has the neutral handling that a non-expert driver can exploit
