thanks for your advice this boat looks really nice and pretty fast ill consider buying it but how much does it cost?? it is not written on the web site ?! i liked the motor and the esc it comes with ill buy a fsgt3b tx rx system to also use with my other rc's i really liked that boat do you know the price of it ?
ORIGINAL: siberianhusky Pursuit from Kinetecracing.com quality motor and esc, hull runs great, get the upgraded 1 piece driveline. Comes with a good servo all you need to add is a radio. Actually a much better boat than either the Aquacraft or Proboat. Quite a few guys in the states race this exact setup. Add a Nue or Castle 1515 1y motor down the road and you'd have a great handling rocket! It's not even is the same league as what you're looking at with the other boats listed. 32" or about 80cm
RE: need help chosing a kit
thanks for your advice i checked some hobbyking hulls but i want something with quality and that can last long cause im more into cars and will probably have less time to fix it and make it better upgrades and etc. I dont think buying hull only cause then i will need to put on all the hardware drill it and try to align it perfect and i dont think i can do it that perfect. is it hard to put on the hardwares drill the holes for the prop and doing the mounts ? i want a kit with all the hardware installed i checked out the hobbyking vanquish kit http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__15235__HobbyKing_Vanquish_Brushless_V_Hull_R_C_Boat_1075mm_KIT_.html but then after some more research i learned that there was something wrong with the hull of it and after some speed it dives underwater :S if you guys know any kits with the hardware installed ? or any idea about the exceed rc seahorse ?

RE: 1/8 RC8 buggy or MGT 8.0?
S
ORIGINAL: driller2948 If you had compaired RC8T to MGT 8.0 it would hvae been a much more difficult dession! But if reverse is a must for you than the MGT 8.0 is the only choice that has rev. I have both a Mugen Truggy and a MGT! The MGT has a few up grades the Mugen is stock and both have clockworked Picco .28's. The Mugen will run circles around the MGT, out jump, out turn, soak up bumps, easily out performs, but only has a small advantage after all the upgrading I did. I probably have an extra $400 in the MGT. I love them both and there great for my entended purpose! If you buy the MGT it wont be long before you begin grading it will start small and eventualy you will have a $700-$1,000 invested @ $0.30 to $0.50 on the dollar! If you haven't bought yet consider a truggy! RC8T, Thunder Tiger ST1, Hot Bodies D8T, OFNA Hyper ST, Mugen MBX6T. Besides you wont be disapointed if you indeed buy the MGT! If you do attached is a link of usefull info! Enjoy! http://www.monstergt.com/articles/
The dealer that i am going to buy from doesnt have rc8t in stock and they only sell team associated. Btw while i was there i saw a truggy called carson cnt. Do you guys know anything about it?

RE: 1/8 RC8 buggy or MGT 8.0?
ORIGINAL: yakfish you are really asking us to compare apple to oranges here. But I would say go for the buggy if for no other reason you already have an MT with your e-revo ( I assume based on your description you have the full size 1/10 scale revo and not the mini 1/16 revo). I have never owned an rc8 but I have owned several 1/8 buggies and there really is very little difference between them and I am sure the RC8 will be a great car to own. It has a very good reutation as a solid platform. I have looked into getting one for myself I just haven't yet. If you do descide you want another MT you can't go wrong with the MGT 8.0 I have had every major model MT and the MGT was the most reliableone to drive out of all of them. the only downside is that it is a fuel pig. but it is relatively fast, jump well, and is built like a tank. If I was looking to get an MT I would probably get another MGT 8.0 myself.
i have the mini erevo vxl and it is pretty nice. 378 thx for the small detail that the buggy doesnt have reverse! i need reverse and i gues i will be going with the mgt8.0 however the grip is not so good it can do reverse :D thx to all of you guys helped a lot

1/8 RC8 buggy or MGT 8.0?
hey guys iim gonna either buy 1/8 RC8 BUGGY RTR or MGT 8.0 RTR but i cant decide i wand the car to go fast do high jumps and flips and must not break i wont be racing a lot just sometimes for fun with my friend and i will be generally riding in grass and soil sometimes aphalt and concrete. i have a e revo vxl it can be controlled at mid air which is really nice ( the car must also have that ) it keeps flipping while turning in mid and high speeds i actually dont want that and the most importand thing is IT MUST BE DURABLE! AND SURVIVE HIGH JUMPS and MUST NOT BREAK IN THE FIRST CRASH

RE: Which one ? Monster GT 8.0 or Savage XL or Savage X 4.6
ORIGINAL: cummins driver The MGT is a great truck too. I have 2 of them right now (a 4.6 and a brushless conversion) and really enjoy them. Strong driveline, and the 8.0 engine is really strong(the 4.6 is no slouch either). Id have to say the MGT probably isnt quite as strong as the savage or losi, but its not far behind either. They have a couple weak spots, however, they are still great trucks. The 8.0 engine is an awesome performer, but it is hard on fuel. The main thing i havent liked that much with my MGT's is the stock suspension. It is very soft. With some harder springs, and possibly playing with the oil, it will get a good bit better, but I still feel that without some good big bore aluminum shocks, or something similar, that the suspension leaves a little to be desired if you do any jumping or rough ground running. The shock towers are also somewhat weak, but can be upgraded to aluminum. Those are my 2 biggest fusses with the MGT though. Everything on mine are stock, except for stiffer springs, and I have only broken 1 shock tower so far, and popped a shock cap once or twice. You really wont go wrong no matter what you choose. Just go with the one you like the looks and the price of the best, and enjoy it. [8D]
I guess ill do it like you say And get the one i like the design and the price :) Btw thx everybody
