RE: Aquacraft Rio 51z
If both your carbs are set exactly the same using the same fuel then you might want to check the filter opposite of the primer bulb. Remove the screw and carefuly peel the diapragm back. You should see granules there if it is plugged up. Remember to put it back exactly how you found it.

RE: monsoon or phantom?
Eric, I did answer you. If it fits in the fairlead it will work. You also already answered your question. I use a .5MM 15 lb kite line. If you want the Kevlar get the 1.1MM but I recommend against it. It is overkill. Just use your existing fishing lines if you ask me. You have had 2 people respond to your post. The OTHER PERSON GAVE A SMART ASS COMMENT, while I gave you more than what I got when I first started asking questions here. Hence, why I am at the other site as I don’t like being ridiculed because I bought a cheap ass Chinese boat which by the way is a great sailboat in the hands of a good pilot. Lets get back to rigging and sheet lines; #1 Hobby King does not support its boats #2 Use lines that DOES NOT SOAK UP WATER #3 15 to 30 lb lines is more than adequate to do the job. #4 Sail your boat in light conditions only as that is what it was designed for #5 You can use Thunder Tiger ETNZ parts. #6 You can use Aquacraft Vela parts. #7 Make your own hardware, I do. #8 You will be ridiculed here for owning a Chinese boat. #9 If you follow me you will be able to sail your boat in the harshest conditions #10 you will be amongst other Phantom or Monsoon owners.

RE: monsoon or phantom?
Yes, but you get a ton of info from that and you are amongst the people that owns the same yacht that tells you how to make your boat last and improve its performance. A vivid imagination and your yacht is really all you need to to have. Its like reading a book minus the pics.

RE: monsoon or phantom?
Hi Bud, You do not have to use kevlar, I use a 15lb kite line fom any hobby shop. $6 buckd the most and you get a 100', or if you fish and have spider wire rated at 15lbs or more is just as good. Join us at shipshaperc.com.

Looking for TGY 9X SET-UP MIX for HK VENTUS 2.3M EPO Glider
Hello, I am new to flying and trying to change altitude. I just received my HK VENTUS 2.3M EPO Glider and I woulkd like to know how to utilise all the channel Program Mixes that my stock HK TGY9X Radio can give me. I have tried searching on you tube and other forums but I unfortunately have been unable to get answers. I would like to achieve something similar to what was being shown on the Ventus flight review by Josh and David of flite test. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
ORIGINAL: BudE. Hi Guys, I have a 2.4ghz tx & rx from an Esky heli I'd like to use on an rc sailboat. Seems to me I could use the throttle for sails and ailerons for rudder. Anyone know if this works? Sure would beat buying new radios. Bud
Yes it will work.

RE: Arrow Shark e-Starter Version III
The version III is definitely better as it eliminated the 1 way bearing that always exploded in the original version. i powered mine with the 5000 NiMh RX pack and it worked just fine. You can use a 3S 11.1v 25C LiPo pack if you want to and stuff it inside the radio box if you like. Make sure you lock tight it intot the engine mount even better use a lock nut as it will get shaken off loose by the boat pounding on the water.

RE: Original Rio 51
I love my Rio! The Fuji engines did not come with cluttches nor can you put clutches onto it without having to modify a few things. The radio it came with is sufficient but its just that -sufficient. I would not attempt that unless you are a licensed diver with a buddy who is licensed as well + a boat on the water.

RE: Sail servo arm rigging
Outside hole is for the main sail while the inside hole is for the jib sail. You will need to put an eyelet on the back where your servo horn will end up when your sails are full out. you will need to loop the Jib sheet line to that loop before it goes out to your Jib boom. Some Vic owner have both sheet lines go out the back onto the deck where either lines goes through an eyelet or pulley block set on deck by the transom.

RE: Winch servo's
Batan 1226 from Hobby King does that and more if you set your TX on full range. I am not sure if this buddy code http://www.hobbyking.com/buddy.asp?code=9BA8F20E-8BA0-4A49-BBFA-D21AAE0BB0EC $11.46 is still good but if you have a Hobby King account and you use this Buddy Code you get it cheaper than the posted price regular price of. If you dont have an HK Account just simply register (FREE) and try if the Buddy Code is still good. If you cant use the Buddy Code it still cheap at regular price of $12.22 US considering it is Spec. As interesting and BAD A$$ as it maybe i think you may have just outpriced your product out before you even put out your orignal product. I am not dissing your ability to manufacture a product or products but you definiteley just put yourself out of reach to a common modeler like me. I love your work though!!!

RE: Thunder tiger etnz 1 meter sailboat
Most definitely. If you follow your model side by side ONE MUST LEARN TO CRABWALK or simply follow behind, other than that stay put and keep the boat in focus. Crabwalking is harder than one thinks specially when the boardwalk your on is slippery with Canada Goose droppings. That is why you see the boat sometimes disappears from view because of what I was trying to avoid.

RE: So I picked up a Aquacraft V24, now what?
Ditch the radio box it will fail you on its first sinking. Close up the big gaping hole on the transom and run a 90* or 105* 7/8" header and tuned pipe on either a 26 cc or 30 cc zen, sikk, or RCMK engine. Stick some floation on that hatch. It will sink to the bottom of the lake fast. I loved mine. I learned a lot from it. When setting the drive, set your boat on the table on its keel and line up the stinger horizontal with the table. That is the neutral setting position for the stinger on that boat. For the trim tabs set the boat flat on either side and and adjust the tabs flat with the table. Enjoy...

RE: MHZ GEARBOX
No your right Matt not ten drops but my m1570-T gearbox does not take much oil either. 10 Ml is what sticks to my mind so I measured it once and shot it into a 5/32 bore, 6" long tygon hose which got filled at the 3" mark. I use that same hose as my vent which also serves as my sump and drain hose when I changed my oil. When the tranny is in use the hose is looped back up onto the top nipple to keep the oil from spilling from the top when the oil gets warm from running. When I need to replace the oil I simply pull the hose from the top nipple and suck out the oil completely from the bottom and then I simply fill the entire length (6") with gear oil and plug it back onto the top vent to let gravity do its job. The oil level always ends up leveling in line with the bottom of the input or output shafts. I then just wipe off the excess from where the oil leaks which tells me its full. Notice I said 5/32 bore 6" long tygon line which got filled to the 3" mark ( initially). I also said I fill the entire 6" tygon line when I change oil and let it sit till the excess amount of oil leaks out through any of the 3 shafts (about 4 drops worth). When the oil has settled the entire volume of oil is divided into 2 equal parst between the tranny and the hose which also serves as an oil sump wet to the 3" mark. Hence, I know that my trannv is not dry but always full.

RE: MHZ GEARBOX
I believe less than 10ml (about ten droplets) from a syringe or as Matt said just fill it and it will leak through one of the bearings to keep a good level while it runs. I was told to replace the oil every 2 hours of run time but I change mine every 4th run (7 minutes or less) just because I want to make sure the thranny lasts.

RE: Clutch for Fuji BT 28M marine engine
You cannot put a clutch to a Fuji BT 28. No one makes one. If you truly want to put a clutch on that hydro using the BT28, you will need to fabricate a mount to the engine to accep the clutch - not worth it due to the limited space. I suggest you get a Zenoah with a Warehouse Hobbies or Pro Boat clutch and be done with it.
ORIGINAL: Norman2 Hi V. The only modification I did to the hatch was to replace the inner tubing on the hatch with a larger diameter tubing. I have no leaks at all. I got the tubing at Ace Haardware. I also attached two latches to make sure it was tightened down. Regards Norman
Norman, -Did you have to add the latches after you have replaced the silicone tubing becuase it still leaked OR -It did not leak after but you just added the latches as added security. Can please show pics.

Hi Norman 2, Is that an ETNZ with a differrent paint job or did you build that from a plan? Do you have links? One last question - is there a class where the stock TT ETNZ belongs or can be raced?

RE: New 72 inch deep-v questions
ORIGINAL: TheFridge189 Hello everyone. Today I just picked up a 72 inch deep v mono hull and I am wondering what motor steup will be best. Also, this will be my first gas engine purchase, and I am wondering if I will need anything besides the motor. I have things like fuel tanks, cooling tubes etc. I want the boat to be able to go around 45-50mph if possible. Also, I have things like motor mounting brackets, etc. Any help would largely be apreciated! Oh and just a btw, I dont want to do a dual motor system, so please show me a motor that alone has enough power ti make my boat go 45-50 if possible. Thanks Nick
This is what you need to move that boat with a single piston engine to 50 MPH easy. Pick either the DOMINATOR or the ANNIHILATOR http://www.shop.performanceunlimitedproducts.com/Engines-Boats_c2.htm
