i'll sell my remote plug i took it off as soon as i bought it i found it useless but if you need one i'll sell it make me an offer and i'll see if i can find the wires also oh i did pull the rubber plug cap off i'll see if i can find it also cool vid alpha if the snow ever goes away here i'll try to get a vid up too

i think i agree on the 2 speed i keep waitin for it to change gears every tank i run it gets better and better cant wait to actually race it

its running like a champ too my seeting arent much leamer than stock but sounda like i need to get a new backplate comming so i think i will my rx tx didnt work i could only get about 110 feet away before it took off so i have to send in rx for replacement if i strip mine i'll probly switch engines to a picco outlaw w/pullstart just cause i have one i do like how they just seem to run better and better on every tank of fuel

bump start by all means if mine goes out i'll do the same but get your parts replaced if you guys dont let assoc. know the problems they'll never lower the price and besides 90 day unconditional on all so get new back plates shafts and sways or whatever they shouldnt cost you anything but a phone call and a wait ea77 if i get mine apart soon i'll send some measurements keep watchin

low needle needs to be 6 and half @ full throttle high should be 3 to start and adjust from there if you had probs w/backplate call associated and send it to them they will replace it gets better im @ about 6 tanks took alittle preload out of rear and it jumps great handles great runs great be patient it'll come to you but get your stuff fixed now so it doesnt cost ya a motor send the shaft back too make them replace it i havent had the trouble w/shaft yet... i drilled the top on my truck and used heat and pliers to tweak the roll bar then took the finger hold and spring off my glow stick so i can just push it down on and it works way better be patient man when it comes around it comes around well and you'll like itask alpha male also i think he's really likin his now too good luck and dont give up just work the few bugs out and enjoy

alpha male hows everything else on your truck doin i mean it seem like i go from one thing to another wrong with it i'm gettin kinda frustrated w/it and i'm an associated fan through and through i'm sure they will make it right but for 700 i'm kinda disapointed

i ran the forth tank out in mine today and the carb was loose i tried to tighten it but i wouldnt tighten found an o ring from an associated 21 put it and the carb screw on it worked for about half a tank and came loos again now i have to call associated and get warranty work already before it costs me an engine

im hoping its just break in caus e the jumps are small i need to get it broke in first then go race and seeafter the remote glow issue and other small bs i really like the way it handles in about a year when i can aford some tire lol i'l get some and try that keep me informed and i'll do the same thanks

third tank and it runs great jumps like a brick but races and corners excellent gonna have to get some badland or something for some traction if anyone has suggestion on set up so that it doesn't nose dive so hard on jumps please lmk i did get rid of remote plug drilled the top like usuall and had to slightly mod the roll bar heat and pliers worked excellent youneed to get a hot shot long glow igniter so you can just push it on but it works great and no remote wires in the way anymore i think it needs a two speed i keep waiting for it to change gears lol

ok i got my sc8 on 11-15 08 had time to put one tank in the 28 and already found i dont like the remote glow plug and the on off switch is in a stupid spot the start shaft thing can easily be avoided by where you insert shaft though the back the first tank would even stay running w/ the glow ingnighter off must have a loose wire bad glow plug etc. i'm going to try driiling the body and get rid of remote glow plug dont know if it will work but if so i'll pass it on alpha male if you read this associated gives very good breakin proceedures for their motors if you follow them the engine will last a long long time and perform well 8.0 excluded its junk dont ever buy one the motors thats is truck is good motor junk more later after more tests
