RE: Mike McConville Rules!
Mike , I have the Hanger 9 Funtana 125 with a Satio 125 and the plane flys good , trims out but you cannot land it. Just as soon as you back of the throttle the nose goes up at a 45 degree angle . The Plane is balenced according to the directions . Three times I have attempted to land and had to reapir the the under carrage, but to no avail. If you are running full throttle of half throttle on level flight and reduce power the nose goes up . Any suggestions on this one ? Thanks Bob Irwin Canada

I have the Han 4330 Pawnee now that I fly weekley It is a real floater and there is no need to use the flaps , with the large wing area. Have a Evolution 52 Engine and use a Spectrum 2.5 DX7 witha 6200 receiver This airplane is not for stunts as it is a slow flyer, and is very easy to fly. It is one of my favorites Bob in Canada

RE: Heng long Pershing Recoil kit available now
Yes, that works great as I have made one recoil systen for my M26 Pershing, but where the H to you attach the two leads from the recoil unit to the RX 18 board. I tried the trigger recoil connection, and all it would do was to make tha Tank fire and jerk all the time and the re coil still did not work Bob

RE: RC Tank Shops/Manufactures
With regard to one of your links offered , being rc- dynasty located in Ontario Canada, I wish to give you my personal experinace with this E Bay outlet. IN the past month (being January 2011 ) I have purchased three HL Tanks form RC Dynasty , who on their E bay site stated these tanks were NEW The first one a Stug IR had a broken soder connection , which would not allow the cannon to fire. Easy repair. Second Tank being a Pershing M26 was good , no problem .But the third one the Mato Sherman would not run any more than 4 feet from the transmitter. The problem was a repair of the antenna to the receiver board was sodered to the wrong location, therefore the the antenna was useless. Once corrected , there was no problem. There was another problem, in that the speaker had completly broken away from the body. This also was an easy repair. It was also noted that both of these Tanks showed tell tale evidence of repair work and body seperations, where as the Pershing did not. All in all my point is, out of the three tanks purchased , I'm convinced that two were not new , but possible returns, repaired and then put back up for sale. I think at this time , I believe that the phrase "Buyer Beware " should be closely considerd with this Company

Problems with the MFU units in the Tamiya Pershing M-26
Hi Everyone , I had a real serious problem with trying to operate my new Pershing from Tamiya. The Tank s just would not move when power was applied due to a clich in the MFU. Here is what Tamiya sent me and it works. Dear Tamiya Customer, The Pershing has a "Rev Mode", which engages every time the tank is turned on. To disengage the Rev Mode, move the throttle trim knob all the way in the direction of reverse (should be left stick down), move the throttle stick all to way to full reverse and right back to neutral, return trim knob to center and your ready to drive. Please let me know if you're still have problems. Tamiya America Customer Service Hope this helps any one with this problem and any future problems Bob

Tamiya King Tiger
Hi Everyone, Now that the Sherman from Tamiya was a success, I have just finished a Tamiya King Tiger. This is awsome, and a pretty easy build, once you get the hang of how Tamiya puts their kits together. The motor sound is so accurate , it's hard to believe . but when you do hear it , you think that the real tank is in your house. I also have a Tiger one on it's way as I'm sold on Tamiya. Being a Widower on my own , I may as well spend the pensions on these great models. Now I need to instal another Battle system, as the Sherman is ready to take on this Tiger. My Grandson, always beats me using the HL ones. Bob in B.C.

290 th Century Panther
Hi Everyone, Try this out as the 20th Century 1/18 Panther Static model is full of great detal, but just sites. there , looking stupid. But, With the help of a friend it is now fully RC using parts from Matomart for the Jagdpanther works great. Sprockets , tracks, turret turning motor, barrel lift motor and the HL Tiger plastic geared motors. Also installed a RX 14 board with receiver. Now the Panther is a great looking accurate Tank, and the size difference is nominal. I have it sitting by my Tamiys Sherman Check out the Pics Bob in Canada

HL Panzer lll
Any suggestions on this weird situation. Just received my HL Panzer lll and charged the Battery for 3 hours, (it was Low under 5V) and put it back into tha Tank. Turned the switch on and both lights started flashing, as they supposed to. Tank started and ran perfect for about 5 minutes, then stopped dead. lights started flashing again and I re- started . Ran great again for a couple of minutes, then it stopped. This went on for at least 5 to 6 minutes. I took the body off and then tried it again, to see if the RX 14 was getting hot/warm. Nothing, RX14 was cool. I even tried a Battery from my Tiger 1. Same thing. Any body have any idea's on this Thanks Bob
