Get Nutty with the Nutball! Great for beginners and experts!
Get the best of both worlds. It's round and it flies like crazy, hence the name. It can be setup for flying from mild to wild. It's an easy quick build, so any repairs are a breeze. There's no nose or tail to break off and the wing can't fold. As a trainer it can fly slower than slow, super stable and no bad habits. Turn up the volume for advanced flying or silly fun. It flies almost as if has ailerons......rolls, loops, snaps and spins both way, flies inverted, prop hanges like a full blown 3D machine and has no pitch problems at high speed. It uses rudder and elevator and was an exercise in designing a flattie floamy that flew as if it had elevons, well, almost. It's more about just having silly fun, with some 3D thrown in the mix. [b]The kit is available at [link=http://www.2dogrc.com/ecommerce/os/catalog/electric-planes-nutball-foam-plane-c-90_205.html]2dogrc.com[/link] for $28.99 [/b] Features: * Lightweight Flexible EPP Foam Airframe Bounces Back from Mishaps with the Ground. New Dualsky 5400 mAh 7.4V Li-Poly Hard Cased!
Hello All, I will admit I am a new comer to RC cars. I have spend the last week reading many, if not all the post on electric cars in this and many other forums. We have a NEW product for the 1/10 scale cars. This 5400 mAh, 7.4V battery pack is sure to outperform many of the packs on the market. The battery was built to ROAR standards and will easily drop into any 1/10 scale car. The 25C rating is conservative, as is the history of all Dualsky packs. We rate the packs to last, instead of trying to 1 up the competition. Dualsky has been in the Li-Poly business for about 7 years now, with appearances in the ETOC, national Pattern competitions and other event around the world. The best thing about this battery, is that you can charge it at 2C, when using the balance port. That means you get 2x as much racing! We are interested in any feedback on this product as it will help produce the full line of RC Car batteries. RE: Dualsky 6360-12T props
Hey Guys, I figured I would chime in here. I have had a couple of you guys get some replacement motors and was wondering if I could get some runtime stats from you all. For example I just replaced a motor that had over 100 flights on it. What kind of life do you guys have your DS motors. The reason I ask is that we are trying to determine the age and break point. For example if all the motors that had damage had over 100 flights lasted 1-2 years or competition level flying, including some prop testing that may have exceeded the motors limitations, that is pretty good. I can tell that some of the motors are over 1 year old from the packing. We outsourced our packing and shipping and they sucked! The would put a battery in a box and put 1 piece of paper on the top. Now we have shipping in house and is 150% better! Thank you for any input and I will get this directly to Dualsky as they are curious on the this issue. Thank You, Mark Grohe 2dogrc.com

7.4V for the brushed motors. You can run 11.1V on a GWS 370 motor and it will scream! BUT you will drastically shorten the life of the motor. We run 2s packs on our combat planes that use stock GWS 350 motors and they do great, weighing in under 10 oz. 2dogrc

RE: lipo qeustion
Definately a 3s pack! If you are going to spend the money get a the most power! Remember volts is power and mAh is duration or fuel! When you use a 3s battery, you usually reduce the prop size a little. I would estimate a 1047 prop would give you good power to weight for that plane and motor. 2dogrc

RE: OK advertisers heres what I want...
Hmmm.. Do you like this? [image]http://2dogrc.com/Website%20pics/az2.jpg[/image] I could come close and it would be the last foamy you ever bought! We have this line of competition level Bi-Planes. Each plane is hand build and painted by a master builder, Jimmie Wade. Jimmie has been designing planes for over 15 years and got sick of spending months to built a 36% plane and have it lost in a crash. So he found electrics. Jimmie builds these Bipes so meticulously that you HAVE to see it to believe it. I bought one of these planes from Jimmie to learn how to fly indoors. I couldn't even fly a slow stick inside without hitting all the walls! The first battery I flew only left turns at shoulder height. The second battery I flew only right turns. The next day I flew left and right turns in a figure eight. In 3 weeks I could comfortable fly in our Gym and pulled off 4 consecutive rolling circles in a row...(more detail further down)! Each plane is made form 6mm and 3 mm depron, carbon fiber rods and control horns. The planes are hand painted By Jimmy. You get a box at your door with all the hinging done expect the rudder. All the carbon fiber parts, and quick connects for fast assemble are also included. The fuse is built-up with a secret crush plate in the nose to reduce damage and add strength. To get the plane to this point, it takes Jimmy 6.5 hrs (that is an exact number...that is how he is I could probably tell you exactly how much glue he uses too!) When you get the plane at your door, take an hour or so to finish assemble and 1 hour to install and set the radio gear! How does it fly? Well, it is a competition level plane. Two pilots flew this plane at OKC and finished very well. It is capable of any maneuver. It is aerodynamically neutral, meaning when you roll the ailerons it rolls, but does not turn. The knife edge is soo good that you gentle press the rudder to get the attitude and then maintain it with throttle..OH yeah..1 secret about the these planes...[b]They can do a hands off rolling circles:)[/b]. You have to see it to believe it..so I filmed it! Okay so to answer your demand for $200 plane setup here is the break down. All you need are your servos, RX and APC 1047 prop. Contender or Aztec $109.99 2dogrc.com Xpower 3s620 15C $24.99 2dogr.com Xmotor 300 $45.00----Includes motor, mount, shaft extender, 3.5mm plugs, and prop saver..(I use the shaft extender for 3d planes) Maximum Velocity ESC $29.99 Shipping is $10.00 ---------- $ 219.97 It is very close to what you wanted..These planes are really amazing. If you wanted the whole package maybe we could work a deal, we have some cheap 12V chargers we could add in. We will have them at SEFF for people to actually fly! Here are the pics and video, There are more at [link=http://www.2dogrc.com/Website%20pics/illusion.wmv]Illusion Video..Super advanced Plane..It would eat my lunch![/link] [link=http://www.2dogrc.com/Website%20pics/aztec.wmv]Aztec Video. We all have a different version of combat I guess. I fly combat with these and a prop hit does some damage, but epoxy it back together. We have had planes split in half, then flying in an hour. I guess you were looking for something like a flying wing type with a pusher prop? 2dogrc
