RE: hacker on yak and bipe
the skin on the foam is what gives it the strength and flexability. an alternative for painting a scheme use sharpe markers. they take a little while to cover large surfaces but it turns out pretty nice. they have a varity pack that has many different colors and the best tip is the chiseld tip. will

RE: 3D Ultimate Bipe w/Himax 2015-4100
with the d gearing you should be running a 10x8 or 10x6 prop. also for a good refrence look on the back of the gws package that the stock motor and gear box came in. it has a good prop chart that gives you info on props for thrust and for speed.

RE: flat edge with flat performance !
your prop is to big run a 10x8 or 10x6. im using the 350c c drive with a 10x8 and 3s thunderpower cells 1350mah and it hovers like crazy and pulls out of the hover. and you probly need at least 3 cells.

triton charger
im looking in to getting the greatplanes triton charger and i was wondering if any one has this charger yet and has any thing good to say about it. the reason why i choose this charger is it does cad,nmh and poly cells. but not sure if there are better ones or is there any chargers that will do more than one poly pack at a time. because im looking for somthing that will charge multiple poly packs at one time.

RE: 3DX-less than 3 hours & less than $200
with the pink foam when i cut the 6mm sheets on my band saw i made my fues a little thicker than the rest and with a carbon rod going all the way through from the fire wall to the tail it made it pretty stiff. also put some light duty packing tape down each side of the fues and that will also make it alot stiffer. also i bougt a 8 foot sheet of pink foam for like 10 bucks from home depot and it comes in 1.5x8x3 witch is alot cheeper than the fan fold. But you need a band saw with at least a 10 inch open blade and a fence to guide the foam through. thanks guys for the poly and brushless info im deffently getting some poly cells and a himax motor. will

RE: Is anyone experiencing interference ?
This problem could occur do to the antena touching any of the push rods on the plane if so re route you antena also check all your connections and check if your transmitter antena is loose. and try a range check walk away from the plane about 50 feet with the antena down and see if the problem occurs again if so its either batteries not fully charged or antena on trans or receiver. will

RE: 3DX-less than 3 hours & less than $200
how is it that the brushless setup gives you more duration than a brushed setup. and also is it really worth it going to li-poly cells because it sounds like the charging time is longer than nmh cells. thanks josh will

RE: 3DX-less than 3 hours & less than $200
with the bundle of foam from homedepot did it roll out fine and stiffin up when you started puttin it all together. because what i did is i got the inch and half 8'x3' foot sheets and i put a fence on my band saw and cut 6mm sheets out of that and it work great and i could cut out multiple peaces for future planes. also what cells are you running because im in the market for some new batts and i need some advice im running the gws 300c motor with a gear drive and running a smaller prop.
