RE: reverse setup on Nomadio
If you read there site the Desktop will still be available but not any thing out. I new it was coming. In order to assist those who have these products, we are making the Desktop Registration program available. Running this program on a PC will make Desktop no longer require radios to be registered with Nomadio to use the full functionality of RC Desktop.

If you want a stick radio get a 2.4GHz system and do not see where it would matter.

RE: My Nutech TBII Pro Race kit is on the way
That is one of the things that really got my attention is how well Nutech is interested in improving their vehicles and listen to the testers. There RD work for such a small company is outstanding and better then some of the larger companies. This is one of the many things that is going to put them on top. [:D]
ORIGINAL: mooman007uk you beat me you bugger, I'm still waiting on confirmation of my mega MT being all ready and boxed. I decided to dispense with my rampage TT so pillaged all the good bits off it... like a laut 4shoe, digi4, kill switch, 4200 flat pack, radio box and metal pawl, also have a new jrz9100t and 813 coming, , have a spare obr race ported with windowed piston and reed block to throw in if i think it needs more horsies[:D] oh and of course the 5b vrc side propipe that should be back in stock at obr end of this week[:)] I'll have to make sure I get a set of those hpi adapters as well for the selection of wheels I have laying around
I have been waiting on mine to get in the mail for well over a month. They did some up dates on them and where waiting for the parts to get done. But that is all part of the RD. Not sure what the yellow wheels are going to look like with my Rebel Racing paint scheme. LOL. Since I have a 5b I have some wheels laying around but not 4 of the same since the 5b is two wheel drive. [8|]

RE: My Nutech TBII Pro Race kit is on the way
Right now the TBII pro kit is in very limited production and only a few testers and races have them right now. The TBII RTR is available now along with some of there other vehicles. You will be hear more and more about there vehicles as they are on there way UP. Nutech has some of the BEST RD I have seen for a small company and lessons to there testers and make changes where needed. Here is a link to the US importer. http://www.nutech-racing.com/EN/index.html Here is the manufactures web site http://www.nutechracing.com/english/index.asp Here are a few videos of the RTR in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ytNALyb7QA&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81-liskdmJA&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ1R8chH4RY&feature=player_embedded

RE: HELP!! Should I buy this BAJA 5B SS??
The pictures are dark and hard to tell with my OLD bad eyes but I think it is a DDM Side-Mount Dominator. Check out this link. http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.1654/.f From what I have read and dyno charts I have seen it is a decent pipe just hard getting the body on and off.

You will not find a better company s to deal with then DDM or Large Scale RC. Their customer service is second to none. Both have a coupon and free shipping to any where in the lower US 48.

RE: HELP!! Should I buy this BAJA 5B SS??
ORIGINAL: Dave ESPI 46u, I have a baja that Ive got more than 6 gallons thru, and its running strong as the day I got it. I am a firm believer in breaking in an engine with natural oil, then switching over to a good premium 2 cycle synthetic. I have done it with RC and weed wackers, and even with larger CC Jetskis. I like how Klotz smells like fried potoatoes, but it isnt the best. AMSOIL

RE: 5mm lock nuts
After sending a stern email to Fastenal David Wright the store manager called me. Evidently the jerk I called at their 800 number did not do a damn thing he said he would! What is up with this company? David said that the warehouse the nuts came out of where marked wrong. He all said the sales person should have told me if there is a item a person orders and it is not a normally stocked item at the store there will be a shipping charge no matter who the customer is. He agreed it was not right but he does not set policy and I understand. My problem was not being told this before I ordered anything!!!! So other words no matter who you are do not go by the prices on their web site till you see if they stock the item at there store. David did say he will get me the correct nuts and not charge any shipping but from now on if they do not stock the item I need I will go elsewhere. So if you order some thing for $4 like I did you are going to pay more for shipping then what the item cost. Bad part is what I ordered could have been sent in a regular envelope like you mail a letter and still paid $4.40 shipping BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: The real deal
Just engine with out blower $5,695.00 Options Exhaust manifolds, cast in 303 stainless steel......................$ 279.00 Exhaust manifolds, cast in 303 stainless steel - polished ....$ 559.00 Painted Valve covers and intake manifold.............................$ 125.00 Supercharger installed and tested..........................................$1,695.00 High duration camshaft (installed at factory only)................$ 279.00 Web site http://www.conleyprecision.com/ Yes these are for people that have more money then most. LOL [:D] But still fine craftsmanship. Do to there are not any standards for measuring HP on engines like this hard to compare the 5.5 HP to what others. So it would be hard to compare to the engines we run unless all are done on the same machine.

RE: 5mm lock nuts
ORIGINAL: mooman007uk damn, i feel bad too...I've never had any issues with them but as noted sounds like you got a jerk for a salesman, i'd talk to the manager to see if he wants to resolve it or better still get a hold of the national office and complain...they'll light a rocket under that guys ass
I have gotten in touch with the main office and still waiting to get a reply. If I do not get one in next couple of days both the main office and the branch store will be spending hours answering complaints. Like I said the nuts being listed wrong was not the branch stores fault. I still have not found any where to get the nuts but HPI for 95 cents each.

RE: 5mm lock nuts
I will post the out come but the nuts being marked wrong was not the local stores mistake. I use a lot of hardware not only with my RC but all so working on motorcycles. It is all up to Fastenal where they get any more of my business as they are not the only place to buy most hardware. But I do thank you for the input.

RE: 5mm lock nuts
I am glade to hear it but I called the home office and told them about this BS. Waiting for someone to get back to me. When I told the jerk sales person I was not in a hurry a good sales person would have given me options. If I do not have a good out come I will not only tie the local store up with complaints but all so the home office. This is BS items marked wrong and $4.40 shipping on a $4 item and not given any option or even told about shipping before ordering. Bottom line this is just poor business.

RE: 5mm lock nuts
Watch out guys as Fastenal will rip you off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a locale branch so I ordered the 5mm 6.3mm tall nuts just like advertised on their web site using their part number which the sells person checked and some 4mm e-clips. I told them I was not in a hurry. They came in yesterday so I went to pick them up. Even thaw the part number was correct the nuts where the standard 5mm tall like you get most places like Ace. So I told them I did not want them. The e-clips where $4 and they charged me $4.40 for shipping plus tax. The sales person said I special ordered them and I told him that when I ordered I told him I was not in a hurry for them and could have shipped them when they made there regular order. If I wanted to pay shipping I could have had them sent to my house and not would not had to drive clear across town.

RE: flooding 813
Is the jr z9100t a standard size servo and are you using it for steering? I hear that standard size servos the gears do not give enough leverage and put a lot of strain on them when installed in a large scale vehicle. Is there any way this carb could be getting to much gas like when a standard carb with floats the float or the needle and seat mess up? I know these carbs have a line to return the surplus fuel back to the tank. Could there be a problem with the line or the carb where the surplus fuel is not returning to the tank.
