RE: 32' cat twin powered
I don't know if they are still out there but I bought 20 10,000 mah single cell lipos I just build whatever voltage I think my boat and motor will handle this way you can put cells where you want the weight and have major run time and a lot of amps if I am running a big motor I put cooling plates between the cells that way every thing is watercooled I have 1 motor that is rated at 120 amps a 25 volts I think if my math is right that is 4 plus hp and it is a 2250kv motor so it turns pretty fast hard to keep a drive in it though

RE: running in the ocean
I don't know about weights and bow heights with a gyro but I use a 401 on my rudder on my 27 in v hull electric it is kind of nice in little chop becase I run a big 4 v blade cleaver on a 3 in stinger so when the boat jumps if the prop hits first you have to be quick to keep the boat from kicking sideways and when you are a fair distance it is sometime hard to tell which way to steer but the gyro knows

RE: where does Gfreak buy there boats
I have no experance with gfreak boats but I have 2 v hulls with their stage 4 and 4 ESC and they are monsters faster than any others I have tried I is a 27 inch glass hull out of some version of China nice litttle glass v hull I run it with a made up 6 lipo cell 10,000 mha battery (neat trick you can split them up put 3 cells on each side of the boat with a cooling plate between each power plate) anyway with a 3 inch stinger and a 4 blade 3 inch prop (1/2 in the water) it runs 67 by a Bosch radar gun I don't know how long it will last because that is pulling the rpm at about 80% of the kv by the transmitter telementry it is wild though it will push itself across the floor just by the air from the prop not fast but moves. I will let you know when I kill one of them BTW if you make them an offer for a motor or speed control they will often times take it

RE: what power for a kmp p38
They were just wishful thinking they weigh about 1 lb more than a Saito .72 I could get it in balance without too much ballast but the plane is heavy anyway so I guess it is the Saitos unless someone has a Saito 100 they want to trade then I would use saito 100s. Thanks Tony

RE: what power for a kmp p38
Mine came with Robarts It is a very old kit and I had to have KMP find it for me and the story is really weird the covering was all falling off I tried fixing it replaceing it everything I could thionk of and nothing would stick to the Balsa I finally sent it to a pro who sent it back could not get anything to cover it we sanded it used adheson promotor ttyed to glass it nothing worked now this is on thew outer wings and the tail finally I sent it to Andreaus at Blazing Wings who had just built me a Pitts and he made new parts and it is now beautiful Andrew says that >72 Saitos work very well on a freind of his I have a pair of those But I really want to use those 26cc gas engines I guess because I am nuts but they fit so nice. RE: what power for a kmp p38
I have a KMP P 38 I guess version 2 as it has the campaign stripes and fiberglass inner wings I have a pair of 26cc gasolene European engines that will fit in the cowl (rear carb through firewall) I asked Andrew about it and he said overpowered (Iknew) but would work if the Gs were not excessive, and of coarse do not lose a engine any thoughts other than I am nuts ect. Thanks Tony
