After looking at this thread I also have the same plane that a friend got from his grandfather it never flew. He got it when he was ten and is 40 now. He would love to see it fly I think I will rebuild and teach him to fly in his grandfathers memory.It will take a lot of work but think it will be worth it. RoadRunner

I fly a aerowork 100cc extra and friend flys comp 100cc edge. The extra flys much better and edge stalls easer. That is the overall opinion off everyone that flys them at our field. Plus the extra 3ds better

I had one of these last spring with a efligh 46 flew great lots of power and flew very well until I dumb thumb it. Well tower has them on sell for $159.00 today so had to get a new one still have all old elec. so just had to get plane. That was the easy part just need wife to agree that I needed it. steve P.S If she kills me she will sell cheap

you heat the rod and just put pin in freezer for about 30 min. then press with hyd. press or c-clamp thats how we do the car rods and pistons

Hey guys need some help I have a DL 50 it ran last week this week no start. I pulled plug flouded can I put plug in wire and ground against the head to check for spark. I also read where guys are changing ign. systems on the DL 111 and DL 222 if so what ign. I would also like to overhaul the carb any big deal to do so any help would be great. Thanks RoadRunner

Found the concern it was in the radio settings I now get 48 amps and 700 watts should fly a lot better we will find out this weekand if it doesnt snow

Teo The battery is brand new onty two charges on it. The is battery is a Hyperion 4s 35c 22mAh. I was using a 13x7 it pulled 25amps I will try a 13x10 before changing to 5c thanks for the help. RooadRunner

Flew it today it was a great day 67 degrees and no wind. The plane flew great only had a 4 cell battery it pulled 25 amps tops going to try 5 cell to see if we can get a litttle more power just not strong on the up line but other than that it flew great. Guys on the rimfire 32 what kind of amps are you pulling with what rpm any help would be great. The wt. came in at 4lbs 2oz built with all the stuff that came with plane just seems a little heavy. But all in all it flew great. Thanks for the help Road Runner
