RE: HL Panzer III part
ORIGINAL: modelbob71  Does anyone have a lower hull extension piece that fits on the rear of the Panzer III lower hull. The piece fits loosly into the slots on the rear hull plate and goes over the mufflers. Will pay for part and shipping. I hope I don't have to try to explain this in trying to order one from Mato Toys! RE: rcTABU-MAKO ?
How to shoot longer and harder....
With the release of the MAKO a lot of people straight away asked for a Heavy Tank version that could take more than the standard Heng Long's 5 hits. Not a problem... A simple update of the MAKO's firmware can allow 9 hits before your Heng Long is 'killed'. But this got me to thinking about all the other advantages of rolling around the countryside in a KT rather than a Pz III. One of the biggest advantages must of been been the increased gun range. Can this huge advantage be brought to the IR battlefield?
more here http://rctanksaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=306#p840 [;)]

RE: HL KT stripped gears
Hi Mike The brass 3:1 are better with high torque adding to driving your pleasure - however I've not found anything that is happy running on grass terrain for too long I've managed to strip the output shaft gear on my Mato 3:1's running on short mowed grass was contemplating the Impact gearbox offer as alternative Good read over at H*E*A*T Impact gearboxes and the Panther tank. http://heatarmor.com/joomla/index.php?Itemid=29&id=126&option=com_content&task=view then again these guys are serious tankers
