RE: Ultra Flash pilots
Saddle tanks work great and fit just fine.. Just make sure you do not use the stock wing bolts... You'll punch two holes in your tanks..[;)]

RE: Smoke oil?
Super Dri produces great smoke or sure... Still a rip at a buck n a quarter for 5g IMO.. The ROBART sky smoke in a nutshell was a waste of $$.. Thin grey looking trail at high speed but not bad if you are going to be putting around.[;)]

RE: yellow aircraft f14 tomcat-
ORIGINAL: stevekott Hey Agent, I just bought a beautifully detailed Yellow F-14 off RCU.  Currently it has twin p-70's in it. It has been sitting in a crate for three years and it has never been flown.  I should have it in a couple weeks. I'm not yet sure what needs to be done on it yet but it looks gorgeous in the pictures. The p-100's look like a very nice powerplant.  Will probably need to be careful managing Max speed and loads.  But a fast spool up and plenty of raw power can really be your friend if you ever get too slow. Agent, would you happen to have a manual showing CG, control surface travels and all that stuff you need to know BEFORE take-off? <a href=''http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forceddownload.asp?file=0;11203798''>
Yorba Linda eh,,, you are right down the street. Where are you flying your jets?? Doug

RE: Ultra Flash ground handling
ORIGINAL: InboundLZ I had nothing but issues on my Flash until I changed the nose wheel. It has nothing to do with left hand practice or anything else for that matter. You want to dick around with all the different suggestions given here, knock yourself out. Once you get that out of your system, you will finally change your nose tire and your problems will be over. With 357 flights in 14 months I am speaking from a position of experience.
Funny stuff here D!!!!! Like u or I wouldn't know.. I only have a handful of flash flights under my belt..[:D] Let them putz with gyros, expos, toe etc etc. Replace the nose wheel,,,, problem solved.

RE: Ultra Flash ground handling
Dump the stock composite arf nose wheel. Replace it with a hard rubber nose wheel of the same or a bit smaller size. BVM, interico will suffice. Get an 6mm drill bit, drill out the hub of the new wheel and use the stock wheel guts.. ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS WILL GO AWAY!! No need to mess around with rates, expo etc etc...
