RE: hatch locker
I like the Camloc fasteners, as well. Use them on my 1/4 scale L-5. Here is a link that shows several sizes: http://www.camloc.us/camloc-quarter-turns-catalog.php The ones I use are V26S01-*AGV. Hope this helps you.

RE: enclosed trailer recommendation
I would recommend the very largest you can tow and afford, because, not long after it's purchase, you may wish it were bigger. A rear ramp in lieu of double-doors will save your knees, getting in and out. Lighter color, the better, here in the South, but white is very hard to keep clean. LED lights instead of incandescent. Good lock on the hitch, or better yet, removeable tongue to deter theft. Good luck! Rick

RE: Jungmeister Tire Diameter?
Thanks Red. I appreciate it. I'll go with 4.25" diameter tires for 1/4 scale. It's become my favorite biplane, hands down, and one of my overall favorites. From what I've read about the full-scale, pilots absolutely love it, too. Rick

Jungmeister Tire Diameter?
Merry Christmas Guys! Does anyone have info. regarding the "standard" tire diameter of the full scale Jungmeister? I have a Bu-133B 1/4 scale, and I have scoured the 'net, but all I can find is that the wheel diameter for the full-scale is equivalent to a Goodyear 6.00x6 (wheel size). I have a few 3-view drawings, but the tires are drawn with different diameters on each one, as, perhaps, is true of the full-scale, with tire diameters varying from plane to plane. Rougher fields=bigger tires. Thanks, Rick

Hobbico Field Charger MKII Failure
Guys, I have a Hobbico field charger mkii, and it has ceased to charge! In fact, it will not turn on. The fuse checks out ok, and I have removed the panel/board from the case and visually, no signs of anything being cooked. When plugged in to the 12v power supply (deep cycle marine battery), I have plugged in a 5-cell battery into one of the charge ports, and a voltage meter in the meter ports. The meter reads the battery voltage, but pressing the charge button has no effect. The charger is out of warranty by a year, and has worked flawlessly until now. Sending it in for repairs is not cost-effective, so I'd like to repair it myself. My knowledge is limited, but if I had a schematic, I'd at least give it a try. So, all that said, does anyone know what I might look for first, or have a schematic? Any help would be appreciated. Here is the mfr's. webpage for the charger: http://www.hobbico.com/chargers/hcap0290.html Thank you, Rick

RE: Large conversion engine source?
Thanks guys. Well, if I'm gonna have to spend over $400 for a saw or blower, I'll just go ahead and spend $420 for the G-62. I was in hopes I might get away with $200-300 by going the conversion route, but it doesn't sound that way. I tried to find an online source for a Husky/Stilhl blower engine, with no luck. The parts suppliers I found sold every other part for the blowers, but not the engine itself. I do appreciate the advice. Rick
