RE: Trouble & the Fix, Converting an Eclipse 7 to Assan 2.4G
Thanks for posting! I was asking a question about this on RC Groups. Someone posted a link that lead me to this. I highly doubt I would have found this otherwise.

This is the one I have now http://cgi.ebay.com/1-24-RADIO-CONTROL-R-C-AIRSOFT-US-M1A2-ABRAMS-RC-TANK_W0QQitemZ260169365638QQihZ016QQcategoryZ44026QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I really don't care about detail that much but I don't want something cheesy. Is there any way to get metal tracks for the one I have now. They keep falling off and are about 3/4" too long.I mainly want one that shoots and that does really well in the yard/dirt.

Hello all. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Abrams, & I am one of the Northeast's fastest racers in both electric & nitro offroad classes. I've been racing for 5 years, & have since then have proven myself at a local, regional, & national level. Racers have the respect of me & my cars while racing. RE: Top Speed of 20T HPI Sprint Motor
Depends on: 1.Gearing. 2.Batteries. 3.Amps batteries are charged at. 4.Motor condition. In basic words, there is no exact speed.

RE: What do I need to take to the race?
Here's what I bring for gas racing: -NT\EB4\Both. -M8 radio. -Nutdrivers\allens\other tools I need. -Starter box/boxes. -Glow igniters. -Spares(often broken parts, glow plugs, MOST IMPORTANT RADIO CRYSTALS, etc.). -Setup stuff(springs, shock oil, 4-40 screws, etc.). -Pit table. -AC\DC outlet. -Pit light. -Lawn Chair. -For outdoor racing, EZ up. That's all I can think of now.

RE: Stampede junk
What do you mean by smokes? Do you mean smoke actually comes out? If so, try a different spur/pinion setup. As for your tire being longer, that's impossible.

LRP Pulsar Comp. is a very good charger. I'm pretty sure it's $130, very good price for the money. Has more features then I can count on one hand.

RE: charging cells
There isn't any real "way" to charge new packs. If you can afford it, try getting a discharger, use the discharger after every run. After discharge is over, leave the pack on for a few hours. Despite what people say, this will give the pack more power for the next charge.

RE: xxx s
Depends how fast you want it to go. If it's a stock motor with a cheapie 1500 battery pack you'll probably be going around 20mph or so. If you want a 10t mod motor with a Gp3300 battery pack you'll probably going around 45mph or so.

RE: nieghbores are a pain in the a$$
Similar in my area. The good part is that there is only 3 other houses on my part on the block. The bad part is that one of the houses has 15 or more kids in there all the time! It's a 2-floor house with a basement and there's 3 families living in there(illegally i might add), 11 total kids, 8 of them 9 years old or less. Plus one of the families has an illegal day-care system. Plus the two other houses have three or more kids around that age. Anyway, back to the topic. If I go outside with my XXX-NT or EB4 if I'm breaking my engine in, these little brats come out of nowhere & swarm me asking if they can drive it. Of course I don't, so they get sad all of a sudden & start crying & stuff. Plus the parents\guardians are annoyed that the kids are around my cars because they think they'll get hurt. So they get pissed & blame ME just for breaking in my engines! They also say that they don't want me to drive it anymore because it hurts their ears [8|]. That's the reason why I never run my Bk2 or Mf2 outside in the street. So I only run my stuff out in the street if I have to, otherwise my stuff stays on a track.

RE: rc10gt steering
Or for a cheaper way, time for a setup change. If you are running the middle or outside hole on the front shock tower, move the shocks to the inside hole.

RE: what in the #@^$* is cutting the comm
Personally, I think the best way to keep a motor in good shape is to cut it once every 8 runs or so. Any less you will wear-out the motor quickly, any more the comm will blow out after a while.

RE: Good Batter?
It's probably better if you get matched packs. If you can afford it, you might even want to look into some matched Gp3300s.

RE: I can't FREAKIN DECIDE, HELP. JEEEZ!!!
Are you just starting out in r\c? If so, definetly not #'s 3 or 5. 1\8 scale buggies are not recommended for newbies because they are too big & powerful for newbies. #4 is not really a good basher if you ask me, mainly because it is an onroad & can be less fun due to their limited abilities. Cen MT2 is not a very popular truck, so if you break, since few places stock parts for that truck you'd be screwed. T-Maxx is the best choice if you ask me.
