Randy, What kind of scale did you use to weigh the model? I took mine to the post office to be weighed. Adrian

RE: Newbee
Matias, Nice looking Newbee! They didn't have the Saito .40 when I designed the plane but it sounds like the ideal powerplant. I still enjoy my OS 26 powered Newbee just the same. I'll add your Newbee to the gallery. Adrian

RE: Scale Gee Bee Z question.
Yes there was. The August 98 issue of RCM has all the instructions. I think they used to have it in the archives on their website. You could certainly ask if they would send you a reprint or a back issue. You'll have a hard time finding a nicer group of people to deal with. I'm sure they would be happy to help. Adrian

Jerry, I can sell you a decal sheet for your Z but the instructions have been lost. The only instructions I have are for the new version of the kit. Adrian

Kirby, While I appreciate the mention, I do not "make a Z 40 as well"......I make a Gee Bee Z 40. Kyosho makes one "as well." Mine was on the market many years before the Kyosho. Adrian

Anyone got one of these Chippys from Ron Daniels in the air yet? Tell us how it flys...or how close to test flying you are. [image]http://www.rwdrc.com/RWDRC_web_site/Super_Chipmunk/IMAG0003.JPG[/image]

RE: Need 3 view for Mr. Mulligan
Thanks Canadagoose but I got a freeware program that makes pdf into bitmaps. My CAD program accepts bitmaps and I just trace them. I also got a vectorizer (wintopo)program but it seems to take less time to just trace it myself. Adrian

John, (And all who were so helpful.) I have been sent a pdf of Paul Matts drawings of the Mulligan. These will do the trick! I just need to figure out how to get them into my CAD program. Any ideas? Thanks, Adrian

Page Aviation electric 80" Super Cub
Coming soon!! I thought it was about time there was a big Cub kit on the market that was designed from the ground up to be electric. My prototype came out just a hair over 6 pounds with 10 GP 3300 Nmhi for power. Lipolys should knock off another 1/2 pound or more. [image]http://www.adrianpage.com/painted-cub.jpg[/image] I should have this new Super Cub ready to ship soon. The laser files are at the cutters for pricing as we speak. You can see more at my website adrianpage.com/supercub80.html

RE: Looking for 1/4 scale Gee Bee D plans or kit
I'm thinking about doing a 1/4 scale Z. I think an RCV would be great. You could swing a scale prop and still have that great 4 stroke sound. Adrian

RE: Looking for 1/4 scale Gee Bee D plans or kit
Flying Models magazine should have the one Henry Haffke did back in the 70's. I plan on doing one but you may not want to wait that long. I have been in contact with the present owner of the plane and I may have access to the original drawings. It will be a very nice plane if I get ahold of those! Adrian http://www.adrianpage.com

RE: 3-D GeeBee
I dug my old profile Gee Bee out of the attic and weighed it. It comes in at 2 lbs 15 oz. without any radio gear installed. The wing area is 724sq." The ailerons are a little small as you can see in the photo but a few hours in the CAD program can fix that. Think anyone would would buy them if I rereleased the kit? Adrian
