RE: Walt Moucha PJ-260/295
Tom, mine will have a Sachs-Dolmar 3.2 in it. I have just completed building all of the sections of the top wing and I will now be gluing it all together. Hope I can complete that tonight and then start the sheeting on the bottom of the wing. The wing has built very easily and I am anxious to start the bottom wing.

RE: Walt Moucha PJ-260/295
I am looking for some suggestions on what to cover this plane with. I have used Koverall in the past for projects like this and I could use it on this one as well, but I was wondering if anybody has any experience using any other material suited for this type of plane. I could use monokote, but for some reason i don't think I could make myself do that on this plane. Give me your thoughts please.

SWELTA
Does anybody have the article from RCM on the SWELTA delta airplane. Looks like it would be an interesting and different build.

I have joked about this with others, but the wood spars are darn near as hard as spruce. I will plan on putting the wood spars in with webbing in the center section. I think it should be more than sufficient. Thanks again.

For those of you who built this plane, does the kit suggest you replace the balsa spars with spruce. What did you guys do who built the plane.

I am looking to see if anybody has a scanned copy of the building instructions for this plane. I seem to have misplaced mine and I am starting on the wing soon.

Sig Kadet Seniorita and a Lazer works/Sarpolus Energizer
This past Saturday I had the opportunity to give maiden flights on 2 planes that we built over the past winter. The first was my daughters Sig Kadet Senorita powered by an OS 26 surpass. Great flying plane and my daughter did a great job of beginning the process on how to fly some RC. As you can see, she had a major influence on the monokote scheme. The second airplane is my sons Dick Sarpolus designed Energizer. I think the original had a Maloney engine and ours has a G-23 in it. I had spoken to Action Hobbies and through their website located at www.lazer-works.com they were able to cut me a kit. The plane flies great and all and all, it was a great Saturday!!!!

RE: TF P-39 Aircobra Tank Buster, Gold Edition
Thanks Tailskid. This was my first real attempt with a warbird with retracts. The Gold Edition kit by Top Flight really made things very easy and there frankly was no surprises building it. I would highly recommend this kit to anybody wanting to get into a warbird. Great fun!!!

You will love this plane, I love mine, it flys with an old Saito 80 and I think it is a perfect match. Most will go with a larger engine, but you can use what you want, the plane performs flawlessly!!

Futaba Skysport 4YF
I just purchased this very basic radio yesterday for my daughter. I have charged the battery for approximately 12 hrs and when I turn the radio on, just the radio, both the red light and green light comes on. No blinking of the red light occurs so based on the Instruction manual the battery does not need replaced. Is there something else I need to look at with this radio or is this an indication of a battery issue?

Has anyone built one of the Hot's from the Model Airplane News pullout plans? It seems like a very straightforward build, but just curious to see if anyone has built one using these plans.

RE: Top Flite P-39 Canopy
I used Warbird colors on mine and had no problems. I would discreetly place a small vent hole in the canopy as the heat in the summer began to alter the shape, luckily I caught what was going on before any serious damage was done.

CMB #2
This is a scratch built model designed by myself and my son. This is the second version after my son lost radio signal on #1 on 1/1/10 this year. #1 had many, many flights but after losing the radio the plane did not have a chance. We were so disappointed we quickly came home and started hacking balsa on # 2. # 2 has some changes that my son was looking for. We hope to fly it soon. Power is an OS 46 AX. In the photgraphs # 1 is the yellow one, # 2 is the Orange.

I have an older OS 61 long stroke and I have a Mac's header on this particular engine, but would like suggestions as to what Pipe I should use for this motor. It will be used for just all round sport flying, but wanted to try the engine on the pipe.
