RE: Can anyone help me with picking a brushless motor
Oh, sorry. I didn't read it properly. If you make yours go much faster than his (60mph +) you will be upside down a lot. A flood chamber would really beat him if you are going to go 57 + because he will be retrieving his boat all the time and you would not have to worry.

You won't regret it. I was amazed how well it holds up stock to brushless. I have only just stripped a diff and that was because the slipper was tool tight. (i was running a novak mongoose 8.5t (9,000kv) on 14/54 gearing with a 35c lipo, meaning the drivetrian was taking a good beating) I brought a mini-t and it was cheaper in the first place but i brought so many upgrades and it is still not as reliable as the stock m18t pro. As someone said, you can always just buy the mt wheels after for more ground clearance.

RE: Xray M18T Question
I have run 1/10 on road wheels using the adapters and recently i thought, as i was not using the off-road tires at all to put them on and give them a go. I was shocked at how much better the handling was and how much more predictable the car was. 1/10 wheels really muck up the handling i found.

RE: threaded axles
Yeah only a few bits are different between dt and t. Axles fit both. The stock electronics do not come with a lipo cut off but the losi lipo has a built in cut off, so you don't need one if you get that.

RE: List your Micro-T Problems
It should be fine to re-solder, just be careful. Make sure the polarity is correct and don't short circuit it, as it is very small and fiddly.

RE: Official Mini-T Thread
I can't help you there. Its hard to say just how much it will help. If its only $10 more, it may be worth getting the micro-pro.

RE: Official Mini-T Thread
Kv is how many times the motor will turn for every volt put through it. (in rpm) So if you have a 6800 mamba motor and use a 7.4 volt battery, the motor will turn at 6800 x 7.4 = 50320rpm So basically the higher the kv the higher the top speed of the car but the less torque on start up. On the micro-pro or the sidewinder, the only difference between them is that the micro-pro has a plastic case and a heat sink (helping keep it cooler). Motors are the same. Hope this helps

RE: Question question.. "room bashing"
The DT will have a larger turning circle and wheels will turn a little slower (this may not be noticeable though), due to the longer wheel base.

RE: Official Mini-T Thread
Cogging is when the batteries can't supply the amp draw from the motor, so it kinda gudders when you pull the trigger on start up. This sounds like whats happening to you. If you have the castle link, you can have a play with the setting to try to get rid of it. The 6200 will draw more amps on start up (with same gearing), than the 4200. So will cog more. Hope this helps

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But surely the nimh will drop more voltage when they are loaded than the lipo (especially 2p), so won't it be quite close? But if it does not work, that rules it out anyhow.

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone used a 1s lipo in their micro-t, as i was thinking this would suit me better than a 2s as you can get more run time. But i don't want it to be massively slower.

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got my micro-t and my got they are small. I broke a bit when i opened it, due to my stupidity. But superglue fixed it for now and will order an ally part to replace it. I am just about to play with it for my second charge, love this little car. The drive train is quite stiff but i did the loosen the screw mod and its better now, is this normal to start off with? If so does it loosen off?

RE: RazR 1/28 micro 4wd tc
I would be worried about that carbon fiber bumper breaking. As carbon fiber (well the epoxy resin) is brittle. Also, diamond can be broke with a hammer. Its very hard but its not overly tough.

Are any other companies planning on making 1/36ths?
I am about to get a micro-t but just wanted to make sure no other companies are going to make a better version in the near future. To be honest, i am very surprised no one has yet, as it has been almost 3 years now. Well done to losi i guess. Thanks for any replys

RE: Which 18th buggy for brushless set up
Glad to hear your getting into 1/18th's again. I had your same problem with my mini-t. I then brought an xray m18t pro and from stock it can easily cope with brushless power. I have a 6800 and 8000 mamba system in it and am about to go lipo with it. I have not had any problems with the drive train yet. I have had to put chassis film on it to protect the beautiful cf chassis. But i would only recommend this if you can get the parts for it. Also its mainly aimed at racing but I just bash it and have not had any problems yet. Hope this helps.

Help needed setting up balancer
I am diving into the world of lipo's and already had a sigma charger, so brought the eq 6+ balancer. I am having a little trouble setting it up. The wire that connects to the balancing board (see pic below) to the balancer has banana plugs on it, as well as just the wire. Do theses need to connect to the battery and if so why are they male connectors? (it has another set of banana plugs that go to the charger, so its not for that) Thanks Alex
ORIGINAL: Mr. Mugen
ORIGINAL: joeyhatch11 Anyone ever have the shaft on the Mamba motor snap off? Mine broke clean off on Friday. Dont know where my pinion went but I liked that pinion. Hahaha
Send it to Castle. They will replace it. Kevin
Only if you have not sanded a flat spot on, as this voids the warranty.

Reliable decent servo?
I currently have a hs-85mg and i think it is not centering properly. Although don't let this put you off, this is a great servo thats lasted me a long time. I am looking for a micro servo the same size as the 85 but more reliable and maybe digital. As if i am replacing the 85 i may as well treat myself to something better. I was looking at the HS-5085-MG does anyone have any experience with this servo? Thanks

RE: Xray M18T Pro Thread
Hey all, Long time no speak. I have been at uni and did not have my m18t pro with me. I have been playing with it and god i miss it. Its such a blast. I put a gps on it and got 25.7mph max. This is with a 10t pinion so was pleased. I have put a 12t pinion on just to see what it can do, charging the batts as i type. The only problem is that the gps weights rather a lot. I am going to order a 2-cell lipo, so can't wait till after xmas to get that ordered. I am thinking of getting a new servo, want a digital one. Any recommendations? I have found this one but can't find much about it, i want one that won't lose its center easily.
