RE: Help with Align RCE-Bl60G
DO you know where I can get Align 60A BL60G Programming guide? I want to program it for a motor on Century 550 Swift Heli. before i was using it with Align Motor on TREX 500 but now I put the ESC in my Century 550 SWIFT. no matter what throttle curves I set, I do not get enough main rotor speed to do 3D. Any help will be appreciated on how to program this ESC.

RE: Strange Symptom (Backdraft 8e)
Getting trouble to reverse it is due to trim setup. this happened to me on EarthQuake 8E and I found a solution which is easy. when having the trouble to reverse the truck, I set the throttle trim slightly where truck starts moving slowly to forward. I then put the trim back a little bit where truck stops moving forward. that means at the moment I have found the Throttle trim center. i then turn the truck off, transmitter off (Using redcat GSM-2C 2.4G) Turn on the transmitter and Truck and everything works just fine :) Give it a try. its all in the throttle trim setup Cheers Ali

RE: need some help on a couple of builds
if you are looking for a good 9 Channel radio 2.4G try to google for FlySky 9 Channel Radio or see the video Ali's RC Chit Chat 9 Channel Radio at www.youtube.com/alishanmao for Review. also you can find its review on RC Universe too. Many people have bought this radio. I myself have one that I use to fly a 500 Size TREX Clone 6 Channel 3D Heli. This radio is awesome and at the same time dirt cheap. It can fly Planes all kinds, gliders and Helis too. Fully programmable and easy to use menus and functions. I did not even have to read the user manual. This radio is very easy to use. I am thinking to buy more Receivers and use this radio to fly most of my RC. :) maybe I will shift from My old Futaba to this one soon :) Check it out for sure Ali

RE: Help with the CX 200 V3 RTF
I don't think so. Once you have built your orientation and masters the hovers, you can fly any heli and get used to its behavior. Smaller helis are just more agile, quicker responses. I would suggest you get a Realflight G3.5 or G4 Simulator. I use it daily and in 2 weeks practice I mastered the 3D rolls, Inverted hovers, inverted flight, loops etc and i could even do those things on Crappy ESKY Helis LOL. Belt CP V2 and HBK3 both are with me. I now am assembling a new 450SE V2 Metal and carbon fiber heli which actually is a TREX Clone. and RTF Version together with Gyro is costing me about the same price of a TREX 450 Kit ;). Kit and RTF are totally different. if you are interested I will be uploading videos of that kit, Out of boxing and other stuff with pricing soon ;) I run a huge RC Videos channel www.youtube.com/alishanmao check some Heli Flying tutorials there called How to Fly Helis Its a series and will be helpful for you :) as it uses Simulator Less Appraoch. RE: 2.4GHz Radio
I tested this radio. its so cool and easy to use menu However there is a delay in control response when car gets more than 50 meters. that makes it not a useable radio at the moment End points are used to limit the servo movement to a specific point. name tells clearly that is, where do you want servo to end moving or stop moving. so you can tell servo how far it should travel either right or left before it reaches to its end points DR is dual rates, that is soften or sharpen the servo travel response in each direction. how far it should move. there is a confusion and mix up between end point and DR. you can check definitions online ABS is braking system maybe it makes servo jitter for good braking so tires won't jam ST Delay is the delay set and TH Delay for throttle, you can set the delay for your controls Cheers Ali

RE: Changes
Yes Richard, thats very well said. We think the way things work, we take time to get used to it. Even with computer Back ground (MSC in Computer Sciences) I am a computer person, but still when it comes to getting used to somethings, it takes time and by then, we find things are changed. I am totally with you. RC Universe should not make changes so often. Cheers Ali

RE: T-maxx 2.5 Tuning I Need Help???
Setting High Speed Needle or HSN is the first thing that we should do when tuning the engine. Messing up with LSN comes later lol. To set HSN start the vehicle, and drive it straight from zero throttle to gradually full throttle. Now listen to engine and see the vehicle. If it sounds like Brrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and there is visible blue smoke, you HSN Is good. If it sounds like Brrrrrrrraaaarrrraaaarrraaaaaarraa means it can't get full throttle or full RPM and there is lots of Smoke then Lean out the (CW Close) the HSN a bit. Keep doing this bit by bit till you get visible smoke and a good full Throttle (good transition between partial to full throttle without hesitation) once you get to that point (CCW Open a tiny bit) to richen the engine a tiny bit and be on safe side. Running an engine lean is not good. Now if vehicles goes good from partial to Full throttle but on full throttle its like Bbrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa ooooooobbrrr (Bogs down) then you are running too lean. there will be less visible smoke or no visible smoke. that is dangerous setting, CCW Open and richen the engine out. Hope it helps there are also videos on tuning the engine on my youtube channel (understanding carb and tuning the engine at www.youtube.com/alishanmao) Cheers Ali

RE: Pull start
Take the pull start out (Before that put on working goggles, and put on a long sleeve shirt) you don't want that cobra (the coil) to bite you when it comes out of that little place. Carefully take the starter out and check. there might be something that is preventing the pull start to go back. check the coil (Fix) and put it back making sure all the screws are tight and everything inside the pull start sits right on its place. there are videos you can watch that i put on youtube. RE: How fast are the new 1/8 brushless
On my Test Run, AfterShock 8E did 45MPH On Dirt Terrain (Remember, not concrete road where tires have full grip) Dirt Terrain made of dirt, tiny stones and sand. Imagine what would you get out of this stock AfterShock 8E on road where tires have full grip ;) (RedCat Racing Clocked a BackDraft 8E to 52MPH in US) thats all stock setup we both are using. BackDraft 8E did 3+ meters high and a good 13 meter long jump on 75% throttle running on dirt terrain :) taking a 10 meters running :) now thats something. Videos are gonna show up soon on BackDraft 8E. Can't wait to change curve and angle on my new adjustable ramp and get Both Electric RedCats Airborn :) thing i love bout them is they are perfectly balanced and a driver who knows how to control RC vehicles in the air can have loads of beautiful jumps. Well now you must respect the Power in these new RedCats.

RE: Final Images of the Aftershock 3.0 - 3.5 - 8E
That was the first thing we paid attention to after testing. I suggested that the kind of beating I do on testing, needs a real tough Spur gear. Suggestion was duly noted. Out came from factory a bit wider and new hardened spur gear. I put the spur gear in the EarthQuake 3.5 and Backdraft 3.5 and bashed them for 2 full fuel tanks on dirt terrain, later did some good jumps and gave them some ol' cart wheelies LOL. All was ok after the run. Boy don't ask how long it took me to take out all that sand, stones and dirt from the Vehicles at home :( Cheers mate Ali

RE: Final Images of the Aftershock 3.0 - 3.5 - 8E
The only thing we have found with the vehicles on this new platform is the hinge pins would fall out I found this when I started initially testing these vehicles and went to the factory to have it fixed. You can see what we fixed in the attached pictures. We made the plastic harder and made it thicker. after that I took the vehicles out and did loads of jumps, (high jumps on ramps and landings on hard surfaces) hinge pins held tight in their place. I am sure that the fix I gave to the factory will cycle down to all others that buy that same platform vehicle.

RE: 2 speed transmission help
Well for sure you won't hear any shifting when you are running the car from idle to full throttle. if no shifting sound is heard or truck or car is not shifting that is obvious that you are stuck in 2nd gear. if you are stuck in first gear, you can see engine will rev a lot but car won't take up high speed.
