RE: Aurora 9 radio
ORIGINAL: MikeMayberry The screen is the best part of the radio!!! It's got a green background with dark blue lettering similar to the Futaba 12Z. It's very easy to see inside and out in the sun. :D Mike.
You did not answer my question...[>:] The LCD backlight is white like the 10C Tx or better ??? I will not buy the first version with some BUGS or the black wire outside module, but I expect for a V2 for the next year without defects. [:D] Well Mike I am very happy about the price, around $200 cheaper than the new 10CG!!! unbelievable but true I would like to see the manual but if the price drops under $400 at Tower with Winter Rebate + free shipping + Gift Certificate....... you never know.. RE: Aurora 9 radio
Thanks Mike Answers these questions please... It will be upgradeable by USB interface and Memory Card like 12FG from Futaba ? With other modules like FASST this Tx will add more latency ? and Aurora 9 is 2048 resolution ? I dont know why the PCM version will be available later and not a native 2.4 to compete with the new Futaba native 10CG ?? I hope that the battery has 6 cells ( 7.2v) because if it is NiMh we can change it for a Li-On 7.4v pros: backlight, telemetry, touch screen, price, helicopter features, red sticks, free switches that Spektrum and JR dont have [:D] cons: black wire outside the module, and 2.4 not native for the moment. and maybe some BUGS for the first versions, [:o] I will maybe wait for christmas in order that they correct the BUGS

Futaba 10C BUGS, Do not Buy!!
Hi guys I recommend you do not buy this Tx with a lot of BUGS inside. There is another bug with 10C, instead to have the draw of the helicopter on the main screen change it for THR/PIT. ILLUST: displays the illustration of helicopter in the home screen. (default) THR/PIT: displays the current throttle and pitch position in the home screen. p37 of manual When you move the pitch stick the % of PIT on the little right square follows the same trajectory. For example if you have 60% on the pitch curve with the stick centered you will see the same value on the same screen. If you have 5% on the pitch curve in IDLE1 with the THR/PIT stick centered you will see 5% on the main screen, thats´s ok ? But the problem is for THR, because when you move the stick or change the mode to IDLE1/IDLE2/HOLD the value for THR on the left little case is always the same does not change when we move the stick, yes it changes but does not correspond to the THR values of the curve :confused::confused: who is the responsible of that?

RE: 10C date moves back, update*******
ORIGINAL: Bax The R606FS receiver was discontinued last winter. That's why it's not in the instructions of this summer's release. However, it will work with the 10C because it uses the same transmission protocol as the R607FS and R617FS. As far as the transmitter antenna's concerned, you can do like people do with the other transmitters on the FASST system, point the antenna downwards. This results in the model 'seeing' the side of the transmitter antenna, which is where you'll find the strongest signal.
Ok, the strongest signal is when the antenna is downward like the picture of manual ? Why TM-14 is a diferent module and can have the antenna turned 90º upward ?

Hi 8717 is 0.07s at 6V or with 5 cell battery (7.2V full loaded) ? If you install them with 8V, its speed is underneath of 0.07 ?????? 8V is with or without voltage regulator ? because Lipo loaded can arrive until 8.4V At the moment the best servos for CCPM 3D helicopters are 8717 and BLS451, Speed and Torque

RE: What servos have been used with A123
A123's can be used without a regulator depending of course what servos you are planning to use. It is best to check with the servo manufacturer regarding the voltage operation. A 2 cell A123 pack will charge up to 7.2 volts but almost immediately they will stabilize at around 6.6 volts under use. The operating voltage will then start to decrease gradually with consecutive flights until the pack reaches the recommended stop fly voltage of around 6.1 volts. I think you have answered the question about your servos as they will increase in speed with the higher voltage but will wear a bit faster. Once again if you are unsure about what the higher voltage will do to your servos, please contact the manufacturer for their opinion.

You can believe my info of course. All Futaba dealers know the same info but Bax and Krysta of Futaba USA did not say anything because futaba does not leave them, people are nervous and will be more to knowing this info about manual. At the day english manual is not ready, maybe for end of month. you have reason when you say: why would they set a due date for the radios that is before the manuals are ready since they cant ship the radios without them. answer: marketing strategy they want to pillage many clients and to put this transmitter in the head of people. Futaba says that it is going to coming soon so that its customers do not buy another Tx.

S3050 Digital Servos
Hi I have now three S3050 on the swashplate, they can works at 4.8 - 6.0 I would like to install an A123 pack but I dont know if it is necessary a voltage regulator ? I was send some email to Japan but they did not answered A 2 cell A123 pack will charge up to 7.2 volts but almost immediately they will stabilize at around 6.6 volts under use. The operating voltage will then start to decrease gradually with consecutive flights until the pack reaches the recommended stop fly voltage of around 6.1 volts. It is dangerous an A123 battery with 6.6V on my digital servos which they are limited to 6.0 ?? Maybe they are a bit faster but will decrease servo life, I think (6.6v - 6.0v = 0.6V) 0.6V of overvoltage will burn my servos ?
