Hey Mike, the event location ain't open till tomorrow. The event setup starts 8AM tomorrow, it's expected that we'll start flying about 10AM tomorrow (thanx to airport co-operation - they'll set up the fences, big tent, porta-potties, etc. "at the crack of dawn", MI Jets only has to set up event stuff) till dusk Sunday! Hi George Burt was a fixture at our local club and events. He was always willing to help. His heart was with Michigan Jets - even till the last days - when I visited him, one of the first things he was concerned about was MI Jets. He will certainly be missed! We will support and carry on the dream! ElectroDynamics will set up a table under the BIG tent at Michigan Jets / The Burt Eisenberg Memorial Jet Fly - and TEAM ElectroDynamics will be in attendance (read logging flight time), with our turbines and EDF's! ...And maybe a special treat - Chris "Viper" Tucker is now prepping a BIG F-117 with.... wait for it.... wait for it.... a 50cc gas motor in front!! Yikes, one of those "stirring sticks" in front, but it's a model of a jet airplane, right??? Hope to see y'all there!! Hi Our switches are NOT "fail-on", and many customers ARE using them on JR 1222 Rx's with NO issues. It IS possible to use our ED-Nano (A123)'s on JR 1222 with or without our switches, and even charge the batteries in-situ without switches, if certain rules are followed. Hey Jim I understand that the Jetcat USA has donated a number of discount certificates EACH good for $500 off on ANY JetCat turbine - and to encourage guys to fly on Sunday (OK, this is a kind of a bribe, since Sunday is usually "quiet"!), each flight on Sunday will earn a raffle ticket towards one of two discount certificates to be raffled off for Sunday. But, you got to be present to win! Makes it very much worth everyone's while to stay and fly!! George, please let us know how the other discount certificates will be awarded / raffled off.
