RE: CARF CT-114 Tutor 2.6m Build thread
Dear All, I'm very close to end the assembly phase of my CARF TUTOR. As mentioned on the CARF documentation, it is suggested to add some carbon reinforcement on the fuselage, around the rudder area : Note On the prototype aeroplanes there is a small amount of fuselage flex caused by the high tail and leverage, this has not been an issue in the extensive flying program, but some addition carbon tows can be added around the former position-take these down around the fuselage sides to the four o’clock and eight o’clock positions This modification is it mandatory? What's the feedback of TUTOR owners ? I'm close to install the tail pipe, and I want to know if it's necessary to do the reinforcement before. Thank for your reply. Best regards. Stéphane

RE: Weatronic update v2.30
Hello Olivier, Same procedure here yesterday afternoon with my TX, Micro 12 and 12/22R. No problem at all, but I didn't have time to fly with it. I just notice some minor bugs with GigaControl V2.30 in French language (mail already sent to Alwin). Stéphane

RE: Weatronic headquarters visit
Hello Olivier, Hardware suggestion A micro RX12 variant with 2 interchangeable wire aerials with SMA connections must be helpful into small carbone fuselage, to allow to use aerial's extensions or external's aerial (as with 12/22R). Schulze have a similar variant with their Wave 3D 2,4 RX12. Stéphane
ORIGINAL: Eagle Driver
Didi Kramer, who was part of evoJet ....
Diddi was never a part of evojet, Orbit was only a reseller for Hammer Engines with a own OEM-Brand, Evojet ..... NOW Evo is starting to produce their own turbines .....
Don't forget that Orbit wasn't only a reseller; it was the designer and manufacturer of the previous ECU. Now, IQ-Hammer uses a Projet one. Stéphane
ORIGINAL: Dave Wilshere Martin, Yes the canopy is tinted with ''smoke'' tint, the photos show it black but its more subtle-thought I did it for Trevor in a rush before we met at the field.
Dave, Which product do you use to smoke the canopy ? I'm waiting for my Inspiration and, like you, I prefer it with smoked canopy instead of clear one. Stéphane

RE: Weatronic 2.4 RF diagnostic tool
Sorry Olivier, but JeanFi said me that he never fly THIS plane at Cazaux... either with Wea 2.4 or Grp SPCM20. Previous 2.4 Wea tests made at Cazaux were done with an electro-glider. So, we can't exclude a problem due to the plane configuration. Stéphane

Rx side : Code 72 = 64 (battery low) + 8 (HF connection OK) Code 200 = 64 (battery low) + 8 (HF connection OK) + 128 (unidirectionel mode) Please check your battery level during flight and compare it to the Rx battery warning level. Stéphane

Hello Olivier, I have made 2 flights Saturday morning with my Boomerang XL / Wea 2.4 / Rx Micro 12. I have noticed exactly same as you 3 or 4 times during each flight : "168" code on the TX, with no red led flashing and no failsafe. Best regards. Stéphane

RE: 2.4 GHz Weatronics, PPM or PCM?
Yes, with the PC connected to the TX module, you can show live data, but not download the stored data after a flight (as far as I know, I don't find it ...). To download the stored data you need to extract the SD card and read it directly by the PC through a card reader. Stéphane

RE: EvoJet BOOSTER 90
Hello, EvoJet and G-Booster are from the same factory. Different commercial distribution. The new evoJet includes a new quickest kerostart procedure with single fuel line (only one valve and fuel line for easier installation). I have a brand new evoJet 160 on the test bench for two weeks, and it's running perfectly. Flying tests soon on my new ViperJet... Stéphane

Good business with JetLegend Germany – Gerhard Pollack ?
