tail rotor system for sea king ???
Hello, I'm thinking about installing an X-cell gas mechanics into a century Westland sea king body. Id like to know what option will work well for the tail rotor system. Should I use the flexible method or should I use the torque tube and gear box system . I know that Vario has also a very good mechanics but they cost as hell. Thanks.

RE: New Mini Electric is here the Falcon 3D!!
More comments about gyro and revolution... I think one of the things that make it hard for beginer micro heli pilots would be the simplicity of the radio system. In a computerized radio system you have a revolution mixer, which compansates for the forces generated when the pitch is changed. Such mixer allows you to hover without the need of a hh gyro. I can see why a HH is almost a must if you don't have that. Anyway, thanks again for the information.

I am asking about the blades becuase I would like to make the order of the heli with an additional set of blades already. What aerobatics were you able to perform with the wooden blades? Thanks, Avi.

Ok, then it's CPM and not CCPM. Good, since my transmitter does not have a CCPM mix. Anyway, thanks for all the information. Avi.

RE: New Mini Electric is here the Falcon 3D!!
And yet another question... You mentioned the Thunder Power 2100ma pack, and said that it was tight. This pack measures 4 x 1-1/4 x 3/4". Was is tight on the length or width? All in all, what are the maximal measurements for a battery to fit in? Thanks allot, Avi.

RE: New Mini Electric is here the Falcon 3D!!
The knobs you are mentioning allow you to change the head speed. While hovering, increase pitch and reduce throttle to get a lower head spee, or increase throttle and reduce pitch to get a higher head speed. Higher RPM will make the heli feel more crispy, and less prune to rev problems with pitch change (though the heading hold gyro should take care of that anywya). The rotors will also have more energy, wihch means you can have nicer autorotations. Lower RPM will be the oposite, but you will get longer runtimes.

Hi. Thanks for all the information. I am not sure I got it right, though, about the ccpm. My transmitter (Futaba 8UAH) does not have ccpm mixing. Would it work with the heli? Thanks, Avi.

RE: What type of glue to use
I have just tested some of the glue on wood blocks. I got them barely damp, put the glue on them, and pushed them together with some masking tape. At first I tried to breakit using a steel table, but it didn't. So then, I put it in a vice and hit the top block with a hammer. It survived five hits, then it broke. The wood was the only thing to brreak, not where I had glued. So, Gorilla Glue seems like the right thing.

What type of glue to use
A while ago, I purchased a hobbico Avistar plane, and only now I am starting to build it. I would like to know what kind of glue to use, the CA stuff, or Gorilla Glue? The only thing that I have read was to be "careful" when using Gorilla Glue. And if Gorilla glue is to be used, then how to I strap the parts down? It says on the package that I should put something heavy on it, or strap it somehow. So do I just use some masking tape? I am just afraid that I might damage the balsa.
