Thought i would ad one of my other Stuarts (or just the turret of it ) that i did here on the forum a couple years back.It has a rapid fire Airsoft gun fitted into the turret (been a while since i fired it...think it shoots 30 or more BB's a minute ) that i took off a 1/6 hummer and mounted it in the turret of one of my stuarts. From the outside it don't look much different from a stock stuart.....[;)]
ORIGINAL: Glacier Girl Very nice! Kinda has a futuristic look to it now. Would be quite a surprise for an unsuspecting Tiger. [:D] Krylon Camo Green in a spray can is a pretty close match to the stock color. Make sure you get video of it in action!
Thank you......been fun working on it as it has been a while since i have done anything with my tanks.[;)] Take the guns off any tank and put a blade on it and you have a bulldozer..............Not a very good one........[:D] Had a little spray paint left in a small spray can..... ( tamiya..olive drab ) just to get away from the aluminum and brass color till i get to the hobby shop... Decided to leave the stock mounted tracks on the left side of the turret as they were not in my way .....If i had another set i would mount it on the right side......[;)] (saved me from filling in the recess where they are mounted ) Would have been interesting to see how a stuart set up like this would have handled the german armour on the battle field...[;)] Couple of pictures where it stands at present...
