Yes like a lathe. I made mine out of hard balsa. Took a block of balsa, laid 80 grit sand paper arround the wing and shaped the block to fi the leadig edge. Then drilled a hole in the block and glued adowel in the block, then shape on the drill press or lathe. It actually goe pretty quick.

Sunday I fiberglassed the plane. also made indi windows with my homemade vaccume. The plane weighs 5 1/4 lbs without motors or radio. I can now use 8 oz tanks in the necessels. I did away with the beam mount that was showed in the plans and made a 1/4 ply flush mount,
