Aplus 400
ok I'm a nub to setting up collective pitch and throttle curves.I put this aplus 400 together from a kit.I have a futaba7ch radio. When I throttle this puppy up it pushes down rather than up.I been searching for some help .Thats brought me here.any help is greatly appreciated.I've held it in my hand and gave it more than half throttle and it pushes down harder and harder. Then when I let off slowly it feels like it wants to lift.Weird.I'm thinking a servo is reversed or my pitch is way off and working backwards.not sure.[&o]

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD
Wow looks real nice.I just painted my canopy solid black today and painted the stock tail a galvanized silver color.Put red tips on the flybar and top blades and zip tied a straw and pulled the antenna thru it.I'm loving this little thing.I gotta find a good place to get the metal top upgrade in silver.Anyone got a link to a good shop with fast delivery? Also I have a Futaba 7 chp and I want to try and use it with this helicopter. It's been said all I need is a single conversion crystal for the radio.I'm a little lost and searching for a single conversion futaba crystal gets me nowhere.Once again any input is good. Thanks in advance. RE: Walkera No. 52 - Indoor 6Ch Helicopter
Mine is in the closet due to frustration.I been flying an Esky Lama around to pass the time.Very stable and very fun to fly.I am waiting on the servos still and new blades before I give this little guy another shot.Parts aren't local.I ordered blades from same guy on ebay.

RE: Walkera No. 52 - Indoor 6Ch Helicopter
I got the tail stabilized.I moved the 4 in 1 to a different position and that seemed to cure the tail problem.Since the tail has been going wild since I got it the blades are in bad shape.I was able to get her up for a 3 count and then batterie died.I'm charging it now.Seemed like she was pretty stable for the few seconds it was up.I also took it apart and gave an extra turn on all the lose screws .Pushed the boom in and temporarily hung the batterie up half under the 4 in 1 and half under the skids. There was a lot of loose screws.I need blades.

RE: Walkera No. 52 - Indoor 6Ch Helicopter
OK I got it and I can't get a hover out of it.The tail just goes counterclockwise when she lifts off.I can't seem to control it.Any input on why the tail is out of control will help me.I'm getting frustrated with it's stock setup. Also the servos chatter quite a bit. They can't seem to find the way back to center and they just chatter away.I have recieved the Blue arrow 3 in 1 and the reciever. Now I'm waiting for the servos.Once the servos arrive I'm taking all the walkera electronics out of it.For now I'd like to figure out why I can't control the tail.My guess is something is defective.I tried adjusting the rudder mix to full and lock mode on the gyro.I tried mix down low and lock on the gyro.I tried a bunch of different settings. When I throttle up and twist the heli to the left the tail motor throttles up and leads me to beleive the gyro is functioning properly.

RE: Walkera No. 52 - Indoor 6Ch Helicopter
Ok besides the fact that you need to use the Walkera radio. How does this little bird fly.Mine wont be here until thursday at the earliest.I've yet to read a good review on flight stability and set-up difficulties. That video of the guy flying it on the bed isn't enough for me.I'll post a review after I get it before I dismantle the electronics.Possibly even a video unless I have major problems setting it up or if it's defective.I like the look of the heli and once I paint the fuselage and get all the walkera electrics out of it .It should be quite nice.Better looking than the Dexterity 3d Heli. BTW ptremb I went with option #3 Got the receiver,3 in 1,and crystals from www.flying-kit.com Just gotta find some servos.I read that the servos are 4.3gm I can get some a little smaller. Thanks for your help.Hopefully I can set it up right when it all comes.

RE: Walkera No. 52 - Indoor 6Ch Helicopter
OK kind of a nub here but I wanna strip my 52 and install all new servos, gyro, speed controller and receiver. It says the receiver acts as a mixer/esc/gyro/and forgot last one.My question is the Speed controller and the mixing. What would I have to do to set up mixing or can I use my TX to do this.I have a Futaba 7ch PCM.Any help would be good.Even a list of servos, gyros, receiver, esc and whatever else I'd need would be appreciated.I really want to gut all the walkera out of it.
