AFPD USB INTERFACE FOR REALFLIGHT???
Has anyone been able to run Realflight G2 using the AFPD USB Interface Unit ??? I've tried with a Futaba T8U and a Hitec Flash 5 .......... Both with the same results. I've been able to get everything working except the throttle. At one point i was using Channel 5 (on the Hitec) to turn the throttle off and on ..... not much fun though!! Have also tried using different signal inputs at the Tx Plug connection with no good results ..... Haven't seen a thread on this .. Anyone have an answer??

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito
Thanks for the feedback everyone. After a closer second look i can see that the retract mount pieces are absolutely assembled backwards in one of the nacelles. China Model Products the Manufacturer, has obviously missed this problem and has been cranking all these kits out for some time without a clue! I had the Dealer (Red Devil Hobbies) i purchased the kit from forward on the flaw information (with pictures) a couple of weeks ago with no replies to date! If there ever is a reply ... i will post it .. Ha... Ha .. Excellent work on your Mossi's, Lozza 1965 & DH71Tiger ..... They really look great!! How about some flight reports/details (and more pictures) from you British Chaps ......

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito
I just received my "updated" replacement wing and noticed what i beleive is a factory flaw. I wondered if i could get some feedback from a few of you Mosquito guys as to this problem. Take a look at the enclosed photo of my replacement wing. The oval holes (inside & outside) that are on vertical support pierce just below the Horz. retract mount support are the same on both sides (short hole on the left, long on the right) making the rertract on the left side (looking down at it) sit off center to the outside and not in the middle of the nacelle as the right side is. It looks as though the left retract mount and support were assembled backward. Is this the same situation on your Planes? Please advise [image][/image]

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito
Thanks again to both Lozza & DH71 for the additional information and great photos. It looks like both you guys do some very nice tidy work .... Right up my alley so i can really appreciate it! Yeah ..... I can now see that you had to removed some material in the nacelle to make room for the duel oleo legs then mounted the throttle servo under the retract unit .. looks good! The electric air & ball valve and on board ignition units are way cool!!! What brand and model # are these units? Also can you please email me a file copy of the nose art .... It looks far more appealing that the stock supplied "grim reaper guy"!! Ha...Ha ... My direct email is: d.r.phillips@nventure.com Keep us posted as to your flights and any other modifications ....... Carry on Gents. Cheers DRP.

Yes Andy .......... Your machine work looks excellent and a very nice job on the spinners Sir. From the pictures that Lozza1965 published it looks as though your main gear units fit right into the retract (air or mechanical) strut hole. I was wondering if there was any clearance problems and if the the 4 1/2" wheels retract completely into the nacelle?

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito
Wow !!! ......... Great job on the struts and airplane Lozza 1965. What kind of retracts are you using? Any problems with clearance and how far do the wheels retract into the engine pod? Did you beef up the landing gear mounts? Lets see some more pictures please! Best Regards. Baron Rico
