Ys110 to OS 91 mounting???
Does anybody know how close the mounting holes and spinner back spacing is between a OS91 and a YS 110?

This is petty much a normal thing for me.[8|]Get ready the night before the race and test fly in the pace laps, more then enough time to get a plane trimmed out. To b honest I have flown 1 time since the last time I raced... I think that was at least a yr and a half ago. Not sure what I'm gonna put it in yet.... Lol hopefully something that will go fast and b able to beat up on these toy electrics [X(] Really looking forward to next weekend.

By no means was I saying tanner was racing a silver plane....Ive been racing with girly man tan for years (since he was baby man tan) and have seen him go from racing super fast planes to consistent (gotta be good for the sponsor Futaba) middle of the pack planes. All I'm saying is that I think someone could show up with a Silver plane, race it in gold, come across the line last and just pick up any left over points out of the heat from the leaders the may have had cuts or breakout. Obviously I don't think they'd be taking four points out of every heat, but the couple here and there would add up. Ur rite there is much more to racing then just a fast plane..... Some people can take the high line with a slow plane and bring home trophies, I'll chose to take the low line with a fast plane and race. Either way for me four points in a heat or a goose egg.... There is only one reason I'm there and it's to have a GREAT time as I always do.

agree to disagree ;) I think in most cases you can show up with a consistent silver plane, race in in gold and take home a trophy...... I've seen tanner (great pilot and very consistent... for a girl lol) turn average times in the high 30's, low 40's take home the gold! I do agree to build it back into larger events. Either way I always have a great time going to the races and hangin out with all the buddies.

Great pics!!!! I though most of these planes looked great obviously the majority of the color schemes were not scale but as far as the out line..... NOT BAD! a lot better then half the stuff that shows up at the rcpro races. The planes that had.... "A big portion of the "P-51"s had straight leading edges on their wings, tiny cockpits moved way farther back than the planes they were supposedly modeling. Many of them weren't even close to scale outlines." look pretty close to the "Tsunami" that raced at reno! Thought the planes looked great guys!

Well that we will, agree to disagree! ;) I understand you want to keep this going as well as I do. I just think there could be a better way to get a Real race. A race where the fastest plane per rules that is flown the best wins weather they are going 200 or 100. Joe's color pile was one of the largest, fastest annnnnnd most well flown planes out there. I felt more comfortable any day of the week with that plane in the air then like I said some of the bronze planes that are all over the sky. what does "stand off scale" mean. I'm sure I could build a more scale profile then a lot of the things out there. Not that I ever would just saying. It's tough making everybody happy. How are they doing the race in Cali with no break out. guessing its not AMA sanctioned

Hey Terry, glad to hear some people are going to be making the trip! My personal opinion on the fastest class (gold) should be the fastest and most well flown plane should win.... If I wanted to bracket race... that's what bronze and silver are for. I understand that most people cant breakout in gold anyways so its not a concern. 2nd place is the 1st loser! :) Speedworld race I succeeded to turn a breakout in the 1st heat fallowed by punching the gear through the wing on a hard landing (DANG IT!!!) and finished the day with a borrowed plane that couldn't get dialed in all the way lol or at all. Man there where a ton of crashes huh!?!?!? Oh well, always fun anyways! C ya in Vegas Terry, always a great competitor!

looking for builder for Top Flite 1/7 Spitfire and Jug
Title pretty much says it all. I had a spit a year back and it was awsome! My buddy had a Jug and it was the same. Looking for someone to build them straight and light. Both will have retracts. The P-47 needs to have tail retract with all the gear doors on it. It is a pain in the ass due to the fact the mains have 3 doors on each wheel.... looks great when done correctly Anybody interested???

Vegas Race??? any fast planes coming???
Hey everyone. So I got a call today from a buddy suggesting we make a trip to the Vegas race next month @ lake mead. I would love to make a trip up there (come on its Vegas baby) but don't want to drive 6 hrs to race each other. Trying to get a feel for a turn out? fast or not who's all coming? worst case scenario my plane gets stolen out of my car on the way up there and we party in Vegas... still sounds like a good time! I wish everyone tons of luck and hope for a good turn out!
