I think 4 lights was the most I used at one time. I mounted them in various places, CG, wingtips, nose, etc. The lights are advertised to last for about 20 hours of continuous use. I use them for lighted nocks in my hunting arrows, too. I still haven't burned one up. You read it right, Thill or Lucky Jack with the bobbers in the fishing section. RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!
They weigh less than the lights that I originally made from the bobbins, LED and shrink tubing. Your plane won't notice the difference.
ORIGINAL: meegosh Big Milo - How much do they weigh though. That is what it really comes down to. My plane weighs 19.7g fully loaded. Adding something extreme to it would drastically reduce flight characteristics and flight times.
at lower speeds it's very smooth. I wouldn't add any weight. that's no fun. just try it. you'll like it.

RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!
I just used scotch tape so I can take them off without destroying the main wing. Turning is very responsive...about 6'-8' donuts. There's a good bit of porpoising due to the extra lift but it makes for some pretty cool stall turns, pirouette turns, and I even managed a couple of backflips coming out of a high stall. I'll try to post some video of our flights soon.

These planes are great! I work with Odawg and The Drake & we've been flying the crap out of these things. Removing the lower wing proved to be fun but I took it another step and reattached the lower wings to ends of the upper wings to make one BIG wing. The climbing is B A N A N A S. Even on the lowest throttle setting. I would say at least 1 vertical foot for every 2 horizontal. Gliding
