i've had mine for 2 yrs and never had a pronlem with the shifting are you turn it the right way to make it shift early or do you have it to far back where it won't get enough speed to crank it

That's the thong they spin off ground and when I turn both wheels it turns but only sometimes and I tightened all the cups so I don't think that's it could something in side the case where the main diff gear is have broken cause I don't wanna tear in if I don't have to yah know what I mean

Mr__Byte even if u have plenty of smoke and have the temp set and everything is set for the greatest run ever you also have to keep in mind theses cars arent made for full speed runs the hole time you drive it these aint top of the line cars i've had my tornado bb for like 2 yrs now and replaced the engine twice cause i didn't uderstand that just a heads up not ragging you or redcat

i,ve raced them and catuall placed well 5th out of 37 ppl and thats withe the tornado bb with vx-18. tuned pipe from redcat servos were futaba sj930 and a dx3s radio with telemetry alumiun shocks with weight of 50(shock weight) and a high downfroce wing from aeroextrem

lsn can cause the engine to run hot from to much gas going makes it work harder sounds wierd but it does remeber factory setting 2 mm on the idle screw 2.5 on the hsn from the bottom up and 1-2 on the lsn happy rcing

what you mean sticks? it's stuck in second or it wont shift in second? in any case theres two grub screws grub screw with a deep hole which tears stuff apart(don't touch that one)and a slight hole which can change when it shifts too second or which gear it starts in. hopes this helps Happy rcing

well i did actually replace the piston rod got it all back together no friction or anything re set the needles 2 factory and it wouldn't start so im guessing when the rod broke it cracked the block and i din't see it so yes I replaced the motor
