Greg, That's funny! [:D] Matter of fact, I was doing a Google search for Ether, and pulled up a court case where a drug making group was being prosecuted. Seems they sent a young lady to buy Ether, so she bought thirty-six cans of the same starter fluid I bought. I'm expecting a knock on the door anytime now! [:D] Bill

Jens, I'm going to order more fuel, but will have to get it shipped, as they don't stock diesel fuel locally, or much of anything control line related. A friend of mine lives outside Oslo. He spent a year working with me on a guided missile program (Penguin anti-ship missile), but that was many years ago. Bill

Levi, I can sympathize with your customer relations problems. [&o] Small business owners are particularly vulnerable to abuse, because they must field all of the complaints in house. I'm showing my support, by ordering an SU-26 kit today, and want to thank you for all the effort put into your great web site. The technical information was very helpful to an electric newbee. RE: Slow stick elevator warped.... help!
Bummer PDX! [:(] Will your hobby shop replace the elevator? The hinge line must be straight, or it is likely to bind (as in your case). Another solution that may work, is slicing the existing hinge tape between the surfaces, and using a few cloth figure eight hinges, with a little slack in them (to allow for the mis-matched surfaces). RE: What caused my Eflite motor to fail.
Ben, That sounds like a terrific shop. Is your shop in Windsor? I may stop on my next driving trip to Denver, if it's not too far out of the way. We usually go through Ft. Collins, or come straight down I-25 (when there are too many motor homes on the road). [:D] Bill

Ben, Excellent! The only good shop I'm aware of in Denver, is Colpar's on the west side of town. We lived in Denver for over four years (before Colpar opened), and my favorite shop (on Colfax) has since closed. Bill

Ben, Thanks for the info. I'd say it's a pretty good bet, that someone tapped those pinion gears on to those motor shafts with too big a hammer. [8|] Are you going to send them in for repair? Bill

RE: What caused my Eflite motor to fail.
I'm sure glad I read this thread. [8|] I just bought my first electric airplane (Yard Stick), and an E-flite 400 3700Kv to power it. This is the first I've heard of damage to the rotor magnet, by tapping the pinion onto the shaft. Fortunately, my motor is still new in the box, so I'll see to it that the gear is pressed on properly. [:D] Bill
