RE: Wing and fuse cover for Genesis
I am not sure about the fuse (if they would make you one), but for the wings the REVOC bags are the best!!

RE: F3A World Scores
ORIGINAL: Jon Wold Regarding age, I'm also very impressed with the young pilots, Onda, Trumpp and Kaiser. Lacking the 30 and for some almost 40+ years of experience of the old hands, the juniors compete at a very high level.
Remember that MAZZUCCHELLI Marco is probably the youngest of them all. But he might get the help from Silvestri (BTW why is he not flying?).

First resolder all the connectors and try your Scorpion again. It might solve the problem.

RE: Rx battery
ORIGINAL: Hokie Flyer Everette, I'm moving away from LiPo's and voltage regulators.  I agree with Neil, it's one more potential failure point.  A few months ago, I watched Houston Schweitzer's Pinnacle take a core sample on either itrs second or third flight (for him) because of battery failure.  There was extensive damage to the on-board electromics, so we couldn't determine if it was a lipo failure or a regulator failure.  I think I'm going to go with Neil's suggestion and  drop down to an 1100.  My Genesis is going to be electric.  I estimate it'll draw 40 to 50 mils per flight.   I wish there was a 700 to 900 mah LiFe on the market. Rob
Hyperion is producing smaller ones- their 2s 850mAh weighs less than 50g and is more than enough :) http://www.aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=3155

RE: CA Models ENVISION
ORIGINAL: Passport1 This was built as a one off airplane at the same time as the plug was carved. (I will never do that again lol) That way we didn´t have to wait the extra month to get the flight reports like we did on the Visa.
So with what technique was it made exactly? Foam+balsa+glass?

RE: Hunt for micro jet for my Colibri and JC P-20 finally over
Hi Ali, you could also try www.velocity-rc.com They carry a BAe Hawk (my design) as well as a T-33 and a Mirage (composite kits). All designed for 70mm edf, but suited for this size turbine. Cheers, Al

RE: Futaba 2PL 2.4Ghz........ why, why, why?
Hmmm, speaking of the tower hobbies radios, I know they are not compatible with fasst, but maybe they will work with the 2pl? the tower 2.4 receivers are fhss and only $22..... Most of tower hobbies electronics are made by futaba.... If they are compatible, that would make the system more tolerable in my eyes[:D]
This is the question I have for the 2pl. Has anyone tried this yet?

RE: 34
Those were great little planes. I built several of Fred Reese's planes out of RCM back in the mid '80's. They could be whipped up in one evening. I like the Simple Cub the best. The wings would last forever but I must have built 3 or 4 fuses. It was a wicked little ball of fire. Flat spins were just a blur. I would love to find plans for the whole Simple series.

It's probably the most beautiful pattern plane I have ever seen. Wish I could get my hands on one of those fuselages.

Your going to notice a big difference without that 3 blade prop. I was being lapped with it on and changed to a 10x7. It rocks. I soloed with it just a few weeks back. I love this plane.
