RE: 12FG tx issue.
Bill, Thanks. It happened on a new model. Then I created another new model, it does the same. I went back to an older model(that I did not notice the problem before), it did the same. I have another 12 FG, still NIB. I will transfer all the models to the new one and send in the one with problem. Brian

RE: Hangar 9 AT-6 Texan Retractable gear help
Hey, I am in the same situation, I am looking at the Robart mechanical 608HD retracts for the AT-6. Tower has it at 35.00 Except you have to bend the wire a bit to get that into the wheel well. I just can't taxi with those wobbly struts. On Robart web site, they stated the 608HD is the one forthe Hangar 9 AT-6 but without the bend on the wire. Brian

Just wondering, are you building the Top Flite Gold Editon kit or one of Dave's vintage Contenders. The Top Flite kit comes in much heavier. Best of luck on your build and thanks for sharing it with us. Brian C

RE: Anyone familiar with the Wolfmeister LR-3?
Gentlemen, Thanks for the rapid response. RFJ, the scan of the plans really helped. I guess I'm going to have to order a plan from RCM and a short kit from Lazer-Works and try to get this ready by the VR/CS DeBolt reunion in the Spring. Thanks also for the picture Bob, and keep those vintage kits coming! Brian C

Anyone familiar with the Wolfmeister LR-3?
Looking for a simple, quick build suitable for entry in VR/CS events. Does anyone have any experience with the Wolfmeister LR-3, MAN plan 333 dating back to '66? Might even consider converting this to electric. How does she build/fly...what kind of landing gear does she have? Just wondering, Brian C

RE: Whimpy!
Happy to be of service. A few of my clubmates are building Whimpy's as we speak. Our club treasurer took the plans from the Whimpy he flew for about 12 years and had them enlarged to a 9 ft. wingspan! The fuse and empennage are complete and he is about to start on the wings. Our club secretary is also planning on building one as well. Brian C.

Skypilot, What a beautiful job you did on those Bee's! Is that transparent MonoKote or some other covering? What did the AUW finally end up being? What size 11.4V CommonSense R/C battery are you using and what kind of flight times are you getting? I assume these planes have flown by now. How were the flights? Inquiring minds want to know! Absolutely superb work! Im mad with envy! Brian C

Interesting, on the third photo, the 12 FG clearly showed with a 2.4GHz antenna on it but the display showed it is on Ch. 11. The photo on Tower Hobbies site showed the same. Is this a doctored photo? So the offset mounted antenna MZ module is no more? replaced with the center mounted antenna? Brian, an EAJ

Arizona Model 1/4 scale DH-2 reviews?
Is anyone aware of any reviews of the 1/4 scale Arizona Models DH-2 either built from plans or from the kit they offer? Better yet, anyone seen one fly? I have a technophobic friend who is looking to build a big DH-2, and was wondering what info is out there. TIA for the input. Brian C
