RE: Tiger Tail 4s Cowl/Canopy
Jeff: I have the clear canopy. It has a red sharpie line on it where I had intended to cut it down to use...but never did. It is huge as you'll note on the plans. I bought it from Ron about 2 years ago Maybe I could find a box at my Trophy shop here to put it in and ship it to you...if I had your address. Here is my personal E-Mail address if you would like it: Bruce Underwood

RE: video of 1971 world pattern champtionships in PA
Several years ago, Marty Barry (was with KRAFT radio) sent me a 16MM film of it, I took it to a local video company who transferred it to a DVD.....and our SPA Webmaster has it on the SPA website... there is a LINK to it after you scroll down a bit on the opening page. It is about 25 min. in duration....hope you'll enjoy it. Bruce Underwood SPA L 15 SPA web site is: www.seniorpattern. com

RE: Alabama SPA ??? How'd it go??
3:15 PM CDT Friday Apr. 25......sorry, just didn't get to check back til now.....yes, LOTS of Daddy Rabbits because, as some pointed out, Dennis Hunt at Zimpro makes them available as nice shortkits, or all the way for that matter. They perform all the 1965 to 1976 maneuvers so nicely. The INTRUDER is so popular since it is an ARF and can be assembled so quickly and is so very economical. Scott Anderson has the Deception and Panzer in an ARC or "shortkit" version...he is in Knoxville, Tn near Dennis in Oak Ridge, TN. The PHANTOM-1 which I flew in Gadsden last weekend is "scratch-built" from RCM plans (1973 RCM)...was designed by the late Bob Klineyoung of Huntsville, AL. Randy Roberts of Cullman, AL also flew a PHANTOM-1. It is a nice performer as well, just a bit more difficult to construct due to it's fuselage being deeper in the area behind the canopy area back to the vertical fin. Several of the KAOS planes were used and Les Smith of Corinth, MS flew his SUPERDUCK design by Dean Koger. Again, I apologize for not getting back sooner, but I just don't frequent this thread as often as I do the SPA Discussion List....I enjoy it immensely, just overlook checking it as I should. Thanks for the input and the interest, if any additional info needed, don't hesitate to e-mail me directly at: bunderwo@bellsouth.net Dan Hinds at Carolina Custom Aircraft has neat glas and foam kits of many of the SPA birds like the Intruder, T2A, etc. Eureka "shortkits" some as well. I am a bit "squeamish" of listing kit providers for fear I will leave one or more out, but, goodness knows I don't mean to do that....for the "more the merrier"...and we just love the enormous interest and growth in the SENIOR PATTERN ASSOCIATION the past two years as a result of National Magazine writers discovering us and doing features on SPA, we are so very grateful. Best wishes.
