[quote]ORIGINAL: TripleDeucer Hey Bud, are you still on here? I have been going back through the posts looking for the info on where you got that little canoe to haul on the float rigging. I can't find it. I know I saw it somewhere back there. Could you please post or PM me the info? Thanks..., it's a little out of proportion with the cub but will probably work. Still looks good though. Bud

RE: wiring and charging new pack
Got it. Thanks much. I'll just use my standard wire and my DDVC for an overnight charge. Just got everything confirmed with my battery supplier, my DDVC goes to 5 amps so I'll charge overnight with my standard wire which he said is no problem and 0.2 amps. thanks for everyones help. Bud

I normally use my accu cycle elite for my standard flight packs and transmitter batteries including cycling so you're saying I can do same with the wires that came with my elite? I also have a DDVC charger I can use.

RE: wiring and charging new pack
My existing wiring is the same (don't know gage) as you would get with a wal wart and the wiring with my pack is (again don't know gage) the heavy wire usually supplied with electric flight batteries as that's what it's for.

wiring and charging new pack
I just bought a new 2200 10 cell max series nicad pack with heavy duty wire and an ultra deans connector. In order to charge before I use it can I use my standard banana plug wiring I use for my other packs or do I need to use heavy duty wire from my charger? Bud

RE: Getting started in gliding!
Look at a computer radio that has programming for sailplanes, if you stay with it you may soon find yourself looking to add functions on a later build such as ailerons, flaps, crow etc. Now that the spektrums are out guys are selling off their 72 meg radios, you can find a good buy on say an 8 channel system on e bay or right here on rcuniverse.
