E-Flite DHC-2 Beaver Anybody putting one together???
Starting to put it together. Went with the 32 BL Outrunner motor because it is going on floats. I am having a terrible time trying to set the four screws into place that holds the cowling in place. Doing it with the replica radial engine is beyond me. If anyone out there has gone through this all help or advice will be more than appreciated. Stu

DCH-2 Beaver
Just ordered the DCH-2 Beaver 25a made by e-flite from my local hobby retailer. Would appreciate any help or advice that would help me on the build. Anybody out there put this plane together and if so how do you like it???? I started out with heli's, got a super cub for beginners, then a cesna 206 and last a trojen 28. Now I have gone loco and ordered the Beaver with floats. This RC bug does not let you go. Stu

RE: escape woes
Thanks Hans This heli is a trex clone. It is a Flasher 450 super 3D. Bought it to take when I went south. Flew great untill I had a minor mishap. Took out a few items plus a servo which I replaced. Would not spool up at all. Got a new ESC under warranty and replaced. Spooled up fine except motor is too hot. Got a new motor under warrenty but have not replaced it yet. If the motor gear is binding on the main gear how do I make it a little less tight???? I have a blade 400 and I bought a trex 600n plus all the trimmings from my local hobby shop owner. Only have started it up as I am a bit chicken to fly it for now. I do appreciate your taking time to answer my questions. Regards Stu

escape woes
Could some one please advise me on which wire on my escape goes to what color wire on my motor???? Escape would not work so I replaced it. Now it works but the motor is running too hot. Will replace motor but I want to make sure I have the escape wired correctly. If I have the escape in front of me face up and the motor wires pointing away from me while the battery and reciever wires are pointing at me what wire goes to what color on the motor. I have it thus.... left escape wire to red middle escape wire to black right escape wire to yellow. Evrything works as it should but the motor is running way too hot. Is it possible that I have the motor too tight and that it is binding with the main gear. If so how do I loosen the motor to eliminate this. Thanks for any help. Stu

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX
Got one and it is great. For a heli that weighs one ounce you will not believe how functional and responsive it is. It recharges in about 10 minutes. Picked it up in B.C. Canada for $109.00. Bound it to my spectrum and away it goes. Have fun Bungi
