Almost there Tom! Next day or so probably. Pipe tunnel is finished (thanks John for the use of the laser cutter!), electronics are all installed except for the batteries. I've begun programming the radio, should have it in the air in the next few days.

RE: PAU 100cc Extra 300 Sp Build
I cut down the pipe mounts to fit the rear of the pipes, and when I get the second set I'll mount them further toward the front. I also doubled up the wood behind the rear wall so that I could scoop out a section for the stinger. I'm going to have to put some sort of extension on the end of the stinger. Someone asked me about the weight difference between the tuned pipes and cannister mufflers. The MTW TD75 weighs .57 lbs, and the RE2 weighs .58 lbs. Hardly any difference worth talking about.

RE: PAU 100cc Extra 300 Sp Build
I decided to pull the bottom sheeting off while I glue in the pipe mounts (still waiting on one set to arrive). The question now is whether or not I need to move the tunnel back wall further back? Its awfully close to the stinger... Thoughts/suggestions?...

RE: PAU 100cc Extra 300 Sp Build
I really like the velcro on the rudder idea, I might have to do the same thing. Well I finally got back on track with my Extra. I've mounted the engine and started laying out the gear in the fuse. I've ordered some RE2 pipes and will wait on them before mounting anything else. In the mean time I can mount some switches and miscellaneous stuff. I'm thinking about ditching the match boxes and using my Aurora9 to match the servos. You can see a classic example of why I spend so much time putting things together in the throttle servo mount that I made :D .

RE: PAU 100cc Extra 300 Sp Build
I made some stand offs for the Extra, they needed to be 3/8th inch thick, and I only had 1/2" and beyond. I had some 1/8th inch plywood laying around, so I decided to make some a la PAU style.
