Been away for a while. Bought two planes want take them Electric. Need Advice
Hi guys, I have purchased a fourstar 60 and a Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 60. Both are RTF but have four strokes on them. Ok, problem number one. I have not flown in 4 years. Lipo was just on the scene, DSM 2.4 was just hitting the scene (in my area) and all I ever used was glow. Well, I live in town HOWEVER I have my own private strip here on the side of my yard and 6 acres of powerline free acres to fly over. The only thing that I have to abide by would be the noise factor. I can fly 12 hours with Electric and no one would even know but I cant fire up these Saitos and buzz them over my development with a good conscious. I have absolutely NO idea where to start. Could someone point me in the general area to even try to get an idea of what size batteries, motors, hardware etc id need for these 2 planes? I have read up on Lipos and I swear, Im still a bit overwhelmed. Also, the motor selection....what the heck is a Kv? ha! Just get me started, ill catch on. Thanks alot!

RC18T Starting a Concrete Track WHAT TIRES!!!!!!!!?????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Our outdoor season has begun and this year, we are going to be running on Concrete. I have been running indoors on carpet with parma Foams and have not had to deal with this yet. Im stumped. Ive heard I could run the foams but the concrete is beside the hobby shop so I would supose its the standard "walking" concrete and not the slick stuff. I have also heard of sorex tires but I can only find them in 1/10 scale. Can anyone give me a link or some advice to a site to better my knowledge on this? Ill run the foams but I need this thing to hook up. Its set up on BL (mamba) and will need some traction for sure. Thanks to all that reply. Chris

The Hitek 55 is horrible. Dont go lower than the 65. I bought the 55 from the-toyz and its worse than stock in my oppinion but hes right about the drag link, its an absolute must.

Jammin Truggy or Revo? Need buying help guys! CMon! In!!
Im a plane flyer. For some reason I want a truck to run around here in the yard and maybe take to the track sometimes. Im 33 and have raced every form of R/C since 1990 from oval on road to Stadium trucks. I have 2 buddies with A Tmaxx and one with a Revo Both 3.3's . Of course, I want to smoke them. Will this RTR version of the Jammin with the .28 Force do the trick? Or should I just go pay

Not racing. Actually, I fly planes but for some unknown reason, I want one. The dude at the LHS said if I wanted to race then get the Revo. If I wanted to just fool around and stuff in the yard then get the Tmaxx. More Clearance, a little bit tougher. Anyone? Thanks

RE: 4*60 Saito 125
I maidened one of my four stars today. I have a 60 and a 120. This 60 has the .91 on it and has great power. Not unlimited vertical but pulls it straight up really nice. The 120 will have a Brillelli 26cc on it.
