RE: Warbirds Over Texas 2012 WBOTX
I just got home from the WOT event, it was my first time attending there, I went down with some of my friends from the Tulsa Gluedobbers and all I can say is WOW!!! you fellows put on a first class event. Yes there was a midair and it was sad to see, But lets not start throwing stones at everyone when something like this happens we should use it as an opportunity to improve future events. I for one am very thankful that Terry,Ed and the whole club put in all the hard work so my friends and I could have a great weekend being surrounded by people of which we all share a common bond with, I will support any changes that are made to help minimize the danger of out of control aircraft, with that being said I will be looking forward to the event next year thanx again TJ

RE: What did ya get?
Well due to the weathermans forecast, " and they are always right in predicting the oklahoma weather " we had christmas on wednesday at my stepsons house. this year I Emailed the Items that I wanted to ensure they would not make any mistakes. I received a book about the P47 pilots of the eight airforce,an anemometer and a surprise gift being an indoor micro heli from air hog, I know it's a cheapee but the sucker is tough. I ran it into the ceiling, the walls, the christmas tree, and the pics of the grandkids that adorn our house, by the time the snow melts I hope to be a decent heli pilot. Hey Ken we hope to visit the club down there in the spring, are you planning to go the warbird event in elreno in may? GO POKES TJ

"It's great having such a supportive wife " I can't wait to meet all big boys that I see in the magazines, and It'll be great to be back in the mountains again

mmm......you never "win" anything on fleabay. All you can do is be willing to pay more than almost anyone else in the free world was willing to pay. That being said I hope it turns out to be a good deal for you.

RE: where to get 2.5mm x 10mm screws.
2.5mm are easy, I can get them at my local ACE hardware, it's the 2.3mm that are tough to find.

RE: Later guys
ORIGINAL: brac1960 No offence to Nutt, every one is entitled to his or her opinion, but I did see him say on one of his videos, not to buy a Dx6i radio because the programing rollers were F****ng junk!! I really don't think thats fair to Spektrum who may be a sponsor or at least paying for there ads on this forum. With out those sponsors this forum would not be as fantastic as it is. I would hope he talked to Spektrum about the problem before posting such a video, if so, and they did nothing about it, then that would perhaps be justified. I can honestly say that if I ever have a problem with my Dx6i, and it was honestly a defect in the product, I would contact spectrum first, and if they refused to help, I would be very upset and would likely do the same thing, but I don't think I would expect to get away with a statement like that on this or any forum, with out some kind of recourse. I'm sure that Spektrum would be all over RC universe about that, if they knew????
All I can say to that is HUH!... and that after five months the brushed motor in my HBK2 is still performing flawlessly.

If you think this is expensive try fishing. Its a pretty cheap hobby once you get past the $15,000.00 for the boat.

It might be free but I've spent a little over five grand with their advertisers, I don't think they've got much to complain about.

I'm sorry to hear you're leaving nutt, I always enjoyed your posts and videos. I think the rules against spamming and shilling for a company are basically sound policy. However; like so many rules in so many forums they seem to be selectively enforced.
