Yes it fit great,i may have to trim the front wheel well just a tad with the traxxas wheels and tire.You also were right all rear tires fit,so if anyone wants to upgrade to traxxas wheels and talons get 4 rear tires,works great.

My Caldera 10e family
Well i pick up the truck on craigslists with a 2s lipo for $100 and with the help of Nitrosportsandrunner(BIG THANKS!) i got it look'n pretty hot,traxxas talon tire with the black chrome wheels and a groundpounder amsoil body.The other is a BSD 701r,under the hood is exactly like the caldera,brushless lipo powered,cant wait to get them out and run them.

HOLY CRAP
Just took my volcano epx pro out tonight for a test run with a 2s 40c 5000mah lipo.Wow is all i can say i would guess aleast 50mph,ill put the GPS to it this weekend.I have not had to many crazy fast rc's,but this one is nuts.I had to program the punch way down so i dont kill the gears,but man does this thing fly.

Hey bigloudvtwin,you have to check out this site.www.fakerock.com on this site they sell 2x2 or 4x4 sheets of rc rock crawling course.They did not have a price.When you go to the site,look on the right of the screen,theres a menu option thats says rc crawler course,click that there is some pics and videos.Its awesome,i will call them this week and find out how much.

Ya know that not a bad idea.I was thinking about getting some prop rocks,like the kind the use in movies.Just build a rectangle like 3 feet wide buy 10feet long made of 2x6 pine boards and fill it with prop rocks.It would be great,light,clean,easy and will have a fresh pine sent.

1)If they sell traxxasat toyrus SWEEEEEEEEET i have a gift card there.Redcat at sears SWEEEEEEEEET i have a credit card there.lol 2)nitro's right, the ceo comes on and joins in,AWESOME,I AM SIMPLY LOVING IT.Dont understand why he hates his job,how bad can it be.Let me tell you about bad,At 37 years old I came down with CLS(look it up,not pretty),(1 0f 99 ever in the world)It took my left leg,70% of the use of both my hands,cant feel my hands or my good leg,1/2 year in the hospital,6 month to learn how to walk and shower,and it can come back and do more damage+there is basicly no treatment.I had a great job as a carhauler,I wish i could go to work,no matter how bad.Im lucky and blessed to be able to run these cars,it keeps me sane.So when you think your job,life suck,THINK AGAIN.

He make some good points and bad.You can tell he is a hater,thats fine,he prolly has just cause.He got a redcat and it fell apart.Well i can say my trucks electronics are crap,but redcat did replace the radio as i asked,but i had to make alot of noise to get the to do it,calling,posting,contacting upper management,get help from Bret at CPE and then i got some action.He was kinda right by saying "why spend money on replacements,when you should spend it on hop ups parts" well thats exactly why i never sent the rest of my electronic in to redcat because why trade bad electronics for new bad ones,so i upgraded with hop ups.Like i have said many time.REDCAT IS A GREAT ENTRY LEVEL OPTION,but you must compare apples to apples not apples to oranges.You cant take the top of the line traxxas nitro and compare to the volvcano nitro,however you could compare it to the avalanche nitro,The thing is,the speed may be the same but the overall durability is not there yet for redcat. Hey Nitro,you alway have good information about rc,and always provide me with answers,but c'mon man, you will never talk down redcat cause your a dealer,it would be bad for business.Earlier you posted about him being mad that the caldera was faster then his slash,this may be true,but ironicly enough,i was just at a indoor track and saw first hand the caldera 10e beating up on traxxas slashes in speed,however my eariler point holds true,when the slash crashed hard in the wall it keeped going,when the caldera did it broke front wheels off.

I would not replace a thing,i would warranty everything that broke through redcat warranty,thats why its there use it.I made the choice on my GP to just replace the parts i had problems with cuz i hate to wait+i upgraded the parts that were bad,but i should have sent all my faulty stuff in,others have and it was replaced.When there is warranty take advantage of it.

How cold was it outside when the parts/body broke,with cheap plastic cold=brittle.You have to keep in mind,redcat has some cool cars/trucks it is very entry level at best.So to answer you question did you make a bad buy,NO you got what you pay for and dont take that as a bash,i have a redcat and it got me into the hobby,but it is what it is.You cant expect corvette quailty at a smart car price.However i must say they do stand behind there products they sell as far as warranty goes.

Cool thanks for the info.The rs10xt is pretty nice,the radio /rx worries me.The exceed maxstone 8 is pretty sweet also,the parts concern i had is gone because after looking close at it,it pretty much the same as the redcat 1/8 super crawler.My big concern was the axles. Do you know anything about the exceed maxstone 8?If i was to get a 1/8 crawler what class would it compete,super?

Ok,here the deal i want a rock crawler,i have about $200 to spend on one,which one do i get. Redcat rs10 exceed max stone 8 exceed maxtorque 1/8 integy rock crawler irock Quailty wise there all about the same in my book,entry level.I do like the radcat,lots of parts,good customer service,bad radio/rx.(not2.4g) Exceed both of them are huge which i like,both MOA,Parts seem hard to come by,like there always out of stock,which worries me.,2.4g tx/rx Integy i rock,looks awesome,but tons of bad reviews. I want to stay on a budget,so which one do you all think is the best choice?
