RE: Jetpower 2012
yes i looked at it alot, one of my friends wanted it, but i simply dont think its worth the price. the wings are made of wood with normal covering on it, the fuse is non sandwich, the plane is expensive. ( the price just gone up by 300€ ) it looked very well flying, and the fuelcell was very clever :)

RE: Jetpower 2012
heres my view of the event. i too like Dave noticed the lack of "sold" signs on the displayed models. but i would like to say that i think its wrong that the makers of the less quality jets thinks they are BVM, no wonder a firm like skymaster cant sell their jets as easy as before. i lost my skymaster large bae hawk 6 months ago (my own fault, but i got the see the wings inside) and i was really not pleased with the construction quality, but the price is almost BVM like :( the show like the bishop guys are the bomb. it it really awesome :) i REALLY miss the superscale planes, like the YAK 130 and the MIG 27, haralds Su27 and so on, there was almost only kit planes this year, i was quite disapointed, i also hoped to see the english giant hawk ;) this was also the first time i saw that some stands wassent used, simply emty spaces. (1-2 places) this evening night show, they shold get rid of the high volume of 3D helis, they simply sux ;) try to fly som jets instead? the dealers had a nice range of stuff, and jetcat were really kicking ass this year, i got myself a new Jetcat P300 all in all the show were great, ill be there again next year. -Kasper H
ORIGINAL: Cooper Amazing work - You are an artist! How many hours? Best regards Greg Anixter Scottsdale, AZ US
hmm it must be about 100hours for this finish... regarding 2,4ghz i had some trouble with my T33, but it also had alot of carbonfiber, and a long stainless steel duct for the turbine. So i had to move the antennas on the outside of the fuse.

RE: Newly Finished CARF P-47 Thunderbolt
right now there is not any cockpit at all, you can see theres no canopy glass either, we have discussed this, because the cockpit panel and accessories from carf is a very poor standard. So to get the best result must be dooing something by yourself.

Newly Finished CARF P-47 Thunderbolt
i have finished this carf P-47 for a friend here in Denmark. The P-47 in covered with Mick reeves aluminium foil "metal coat" i have made everything on the model regarding finish, except the rub on decals, they are from tailormade. firstly, the pictures of the start of the project, the first covered item, and the detailing of the alu foil... RE: WHY GO EDF IF YOU HAVE TURBINES?
ORIGINAL: Airplanes400 With turbines, you can also have smoke ... and that is AWESOME! You can also turn the smoke off and on whenever you wish. With EDF's you can't get smoke. But if you do get smoke, it only happens once, and you can't turn it off. Chances are that smoke will cost you a few thousand dollars in repairs, or the loss of your jet. Plus, when smoke is coming out the tailpipe of your EDF jet, it is not awesome. Tubines win!
:D

its unreal when you lift the elevator :) most of the spars in the model is made of 8mm think herex with 49g cloth on both sides, its VERY light and stronger than the light plywood normally used.

RE: Tomahawk-Design Bae Hawk 1: 3.5
what Mister Green is saying, is that hees HOPING to get his hawk back this thursday, but im not sure i will give it back, afterall it is totally fitted, and my TX matches his, so its just to fuel it and fly :D - i even stole his model setup from the TX and copied to my own when he wassent looking... [:D] [:p] A little something about the Thawk hawk... i think its a pitty that the rivets is so tiny on the surface on the model, after the clearcoat they are almost gone. I know the rivets are perfect scale (as everything else on the model) but the paint thickness is not 1/3,5, i think the details should have been a bit exaggeratedl like on a skymaster model and so on. but this is the only thing. this bird is really the lamborghini of RC jets, everything is just SO good quality. Im proud of the model, and that Carsten trusted me his Hawk, afterall if i did a terrible job, then the model would be wrecked, because, if it should need a new paintjob, it would gain an extra 1kg of paint (and go over 25kg) and loose all of the surface details because of the sanding. And i so not want to be the person to wreck a 10000€ kit ;-) i look forward to make the next kickass jet, the Thawk F5 [:D]
