"what was your first plane" Excellent question. Pattern ships are generally enclosed engine and will go where you point them. The first makes tuning a bit trickier and the second is great if you know what you're doing. Some have tapered wings that are trickie at low speed (specifically landing). But, like many desciptives in this hobby "pattern" covers a great deal of territory. The pattern models of 25 years ago are todays classic sport models.

Just think. We spent five weeks getting nothing accomplished. If he'd spent two hours looking for the dropped wheel it never would have been a topic. We helped a fellow find a Quickee 500 wheel that was the size of a silver dollar that fell in the weeds. Only took a few of his friends 15 minutes and he didn't have to worry about buying a new wheel. Ah, that's the difference. ;-)

Disgruntled pilots CAN and SHOULD contact the distributors directly with complaints. They said "no", so no it is. Take your business elsewhere . . . and expect identical results. If you accept an ARF then you are at their mercy. But I waste my time and typing. Spent a couple years as a college instructor and I guess it's just habit.

Start slightly nose up and blend in some down elevator once mostly inverted. In a slow roll (a beautiful maneuver) you also have to work in rudder to keep the nose level. You can get fancy and limit the amount of down elevator with aileron differential to make a roll more axial.

Jetta Turbo SportWagon. I have had two 82" wingsan models and a .60 size model in mine simultaneously, with fieldbox, fuel and folding chair, for trips to the airfield. 30 mpg highway. 66.9 cubic feet in the bed with the rear seat down. That's better than a lot of SUVs. And it will get you plenty of speeding tickets if you let your foot get heavy. And it's a blast to drive! Maxford sell a good gas trainer. Sadly, the instructions are not first plane complete. Flys well, though. The first five days I had this out the winds were at least 15 mph.

What JetMec05 said. You cross through a short if you flip the switches in sequence. With a 7A battery that's enough to flash pretty hot and will do the battery no good.

LIFE Charger
Hi Where can I find a field charger that will charge LIFE 7 s, without hooking up the balancer plug. The battery pack I have came with a EH plug. can't find a extension cable for it, so I can leave in the plane while charging. The charger I have now reqiures to plug in the balancer . Thanks Charlie

I have similar results with a Xoar or Falcon 19x8 prop on a Fuji 34cc. I normally tool around at half throttle and increase for uplines and decrease for downlines to make a smoother flight.
