I got really busy at work . Personal time is hard to get these days. so no but yes. Im gonna get a new smoker . the stock one is the only part that kills the Whole thing its too loud. im confident the new one will cure that. gonna put a new airsoft in it also . till i lock down IR . battle setup. And im gonna order the gears.I just had too catch back up from the winter . This is what it looks like as of today. lol . Cheers Matt

thats awesome! Great Dad you are... remember the GI Joe Abrams tank in the 1980's? it was my favorite toy ever. it weighed alot and ran by pushing the top part of the turret in the direction you wanted it to go.

Wow thanks Guys , uhhhhhhm , yeah gears are still broke, like my wallet, im calling Phill hopefully this week, Stencils i went on google image search for Afrika Korps Logo, then i adjusted to size via arts and letters, any program like that will work.i printed on to A thicker card like paper, then i cut the out with a exacto knife, this was a pain in the Kiester, but after about 5 of them i got a few of the small and large logos, the Number stencils i admit arent german military they are of a basic military style. Again thanks i know this is a tuff crowd to impress. Now the rack is being worked on for the back of the tank. this is actually looking like it may be pretty cool. still some work on that. But the Little Panzer shall be rolling soon.

Well i had to see The Tank with the tracks on her. The engines are out, and she is still a static model for another week but im so pleased to see her in one piece again. the Afrika korps route worked well for me. Stencils are done I added a few, I never want to cut these again.....just kidding it was pretty cool. i copied them from computer and printed on card paper trimmed with exacto. did a little free hand waalaa. 5 trys later..... Matt

Im having a heck of a time trying to Find Unit designations for Panzer III's in North Africa, does anyone out there have any good lit and Pics on some, im most likely going to make my own stencils and get my friend who is a pro airbrusher hit them up. Matty made some cash this morning so i hit the depot up, i wasnt even there for this i needed a Hot Water heater. lol but i saw some Rustolem camaflage paint in a Isle and picked up 2 cans of Rustoleum specialty Camoflage they had. Theres a few colors so i got this and a darker flat Mud color. i used a Dull burt red primer base coat,' i had this for another project '. and just dusted coats on it. i was kinda worried , But it turned out pretty good ,better then i thought. so im kicking around about doing a yelowish water color type brush on ,or just leaving it. let me know what you all think. i love the feed back, well i stripped it down and started over again on some new ideas,I was up almost up all night painting, being so broke at the moment has me getting out there and finding things through out my daily routine, i used black ink jet ink cut 9:1 alchohol, for black wash, my Girls silver finger nail polish as metal scrapes and such.Old metal car stereo speaker grill cut up as intake grills, A old rusty can, i sanded the rust off of it then used the rust mixed with small amount of glue, made rust paste. the cammo roles are cheese cloth. the antenna is a old rc car one i chopped down . Now thats making chicken salad out of chicken ^&%&. Wait till i start getting my paycheck again and im able to get the gooooood stuff.! Thanks again Fellas , this has been a Rewarding new Hobby by far. and one im afraid will be here awhile. Cheers Matt

Well i Think i have created something that looks like its been through hell and Back, still fine tuning and saving for Parts, but today i applied bare metal weathering and checked all suspension springs and turret operation, i was having some small elevation issues, nothing major ended up being a idiot move on my part and forgeting a screw.lol here are a few pics. Chief Im not seeing any warping they seem straight ill need to check it again in the morning, i think the only thing Warpped at the moment is me.. but i dont see any cracking or flaws. theres a collar for the shaft i can get right? to keep it from too much movement back and forth and prolong gear life? Nice little motor pool you got workin Sir. ive been talking to joe and i think ive come up with my second, but still tossing ideas around. it may be the King Tiger or a Sturmgeschütz Ausf. F8 .
