RE: Video of our new
This minigun fires 6mm blanks. The same cartidges as used in a starting gun. There is no way you could actually shoot real bullits or projectiles with it.

Fastest RC jet VIDEO ever?
Hello guys, A lot of people doubted the first video of the turbine powered scout. I have found some additional footage of this fast beast. I thought you would appreciate the video.. [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92D5LgLnMxU[/youtube]

RE: Jet-Teng L39 for P20
That looks like a pretty good spot for the turbine. Don't forget your FOD screen! You don't want your precious P-20 to swallow a bumblebee during flight. :D Best regards, Cliff

RE: Jet-Teng L39 for P20
Hello Mike, The ay I set the turbine up, made the L-39 Tail heavy. Place your turbine as much forward as possible. I had to add a total of 250 Grams of lead/battery My battery is under the radio plate. That didn't affect the flying characteristics though. Keep us posted! Cliff

RE: Jet-Teng L39 for P20
Hello Mike, Do they sell the fuel tank without the rest of the Habu sports kit? If so, how much is a tank at GBR? Might be interesting to see how they work out. Can you please upload a picture from the bottom so we can see how much ducting has been removed? Cheers, Clifford

RE: Jet-Teng L39 for P20
Yes, i have the 1.1 meter fuel line nicely roled up under the radio tray. The extention is between the pump and the valve. Can you please make a drawing of the undercariage ribs? I need to update mine to. the blocks have too little area to devide the stress. Thanks, Cliff

RE: Jet-Teng L39 for P20
Since the original L-30 came without a manual, I have taken the time to write one during my build. I can upload pictures of the turbine install. I have ordered a 32 cm long dual wall tailpipe directly at JetCat. The ideal diameter of the tailpipe is 45mm. Here's the manual:

RE: FEJ Liberty-S thread..
Without modding the airplane, a 92mm Turbine is the absolute maximum, you can fit. A K-80 will eventually fit but you need to remove some wood of the turbine mount in the airframe. If you do not have an engine yet, a Jets-Munt Merlin 90 is the engine to go for. 95 Newton of power and only 90mm wide.

I have send an e-mail to Horst today. let's see what comes out of ths attempt. By the looks of it, the 300 is going to be a winner for the new JetCat P-20 [image]http://www.rc-network.de/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=278736&d=1240843270[/image] I will keep you posted.. Kind regards, Clifford

RE: FEJ Liberty-S thread..
It had to do with a wheel being a little stuck in the wheel well and a small air leak in one of the hoses. The problem is fixed and Bert van Didden will fly the Liberty again this upcoming week-end in Nederweert the netherlands. Appart from that, the gear and cilinders are fine. Let's keep it on-topic please?

RE: FEJ Liberty-S thread..
Hello Bob, This particular Liberty-S is powered by a Wren Super Sport. A jets-Munt merlin 90 would also do the trick. Note the NACA ducts on the top and bottom, these ducts gave the Wren 10N of extra thrust. RE: FEJ Liberty-S thread..
Yes, she does have some Firebird resembleses.. [image]http://www.flyeaglejet.com/Liberty/LIBERTY1%20(4).JPG[/image] The smaller liberty-S can hold up to 92mm Turbine diameter. The bigger Liberty-L certainly works with a 120 - 160 Turbine. I think Keith is the most experienced Liberty-S guy who can tell you more on how she flies. Like I said, i am waiting for mine to arrive. As soon as she's in, I will update this thread with my build and flight experiences on this jet. (with YouTube videos to support it)

RE: FEJ Liberty-S thread..
Yeah she does look good doesn't she?! I am going to mount a Jets-Munt Merlin 90 Turbine. Should be plenty of blow for this bird. The HPAT color scheme has only been done on the Liberty-L .... till now [image]http://www.flyeaglejet.com/Liberty-L/llrwb%20(6).JPG[/image] (THIS IS THE LIBERTY-L) I will keep you posted as soon as she arrives.. (maybe an unboxing on YouTube would be an idea)

FEJ Liberty-S thread..
Well... my Liberty-S is on the way to Europe. All James mailed me was a glimpse in the box before they shipped it.. This is the first "S" FEJ has done in the "HPAT" color scheme. [image]http://image2-6.rcuniverse.com/e1/gallery/photos/207452/lg-195016.jpg[/image] What i have so far are the settings suggested by Keith (aka Jetmodeller) C/G at 20mm not 30mm ((The [link=http://www.flyeaglejet.com/en/Liberty%20Instruction%20%20Manuals.html]MANUAL[/link] however is saying [b]300[/b]mm)) Ailerons 10mm each way Elevator 15mm each way Flaps 45mm total movement I would like to use this thread for sharing Liberty-S experiences. So for all you [b]Liberty-S [/b]owners out there, lets share..
