Broken A-arms
Been awhile since I posted on here. But I'm in the process of building a 'project' and was curious if anyone had any ol broken stocker x style lower a- arms around they would be willing to get rid of? I only need 3 more. I have to modify them anyways so thats why I'm not concerned of condition as long as the knuckle can work properly as well as two of the hinge pin supports for the bulks. Thanks Clymer.

RE: Ricer Flyby
I dont get it from any subaru's seeing as its older guys driving them. I always get a 95 eclipse (with a homemade coffee can muffler) that will mess with me...actually its my buddies car but still funny when I see him comin up in the rear view. There's a riced out white neon that is always revving his engine when he see's me....I seen him at the stop lights yesterday and he revved it up to where it sounded like she was gonna blow up...I responded with a light rap of 4.5k in my z28... he didnt do anything else lol. There's also a couple V6 firechickens around town that like to mess with me aswell.

HAHA! wow! nothing like coming back for the first time in months and I still see the savage guys can't get the panties outta their cracks with the words REVO stamped on em. I mean really guys, I used to like this forum because I own a savage x ss and a revo 3.3 but all yall ever do anymore is argue. Its pointless. Grow up. Heading back to the shortcourse forums and put up some for-sale adds for the savage.

RE: Mugen Sport-Seven?
Slide the engine forward. Where it sits now even if it had a flywheel it wouldn't line up with the flywheel slot for a bump box. Put a flywheel on and line up the cb and spur gear and I bet it would fit. If not get a taller clutch bell.

Diesel- you'll be fine. They are different offset wheels but its not a big deal. I do the same when I'm racing, my rear's are worn down a bit so I rotate them to get more traction when needed.

RE: CHECK OUT THIS BRUSHLESS CORR TRUCK!!
ORIGINAL: FoamyVictim
thats doesn't look like anything special at all. just looks like a 1/8 buggy truggy chassis but bigger... baja 5t just looks much better. both are still not a corr trucks. truck and independent suspension? i don't think so... only the body makes it look like corr truck. give me a solid rear axle drive, then ill consider one... until then they are all buggies just with truck bodies.
Like this one? Sadly, they handle like crap, cost too much and don't sell well. That's why all new SCTs are gonna have fully independent suspensions: [image]http://thundertechracing.com/desert%20truck/trophy55.jpg[/image]
The TTR truck is a good example but not all solid axle sct's are built like that. The ttr truck is small and has a high COG,short wheelbase and not enough width, they tried to incorperate too much detail and it just wouldn't handle well and its fugly. If you go over to rcshourtcourse.com and check out the custom solid axle builds, the only thing they have in common with the TTR sct is that they both use solid axles. OTher then that they are completly different. I'm in the process of building a solid axle sct. It (Like most of the homebuilt solid axle scts) has a pan chassis, TVP's to suspend the axle and shocks and utilizes a simple stadium truck front end. Such as a slash, sc10,blitz etc. That can be bolted to the chassis easily.
ORIGINAL: fourwheels0 you still didn't get my point. comparing the size of the bucket to the truck you can tell it's not an 1/8 scale truck.
I dont think your getting my point, I know its 5th scale. And if the director can only compare the truck to a 5gallon bucket, then I feel sorry for the future of Caster Racing. I mean for gods sake take out the tape measure and give some increments. In my first post I was merely expressing my sarcasm for how crappy and old the same drifting shot got old.

I started shaving around mid 13. I hit puberty uber early and it sucked having 'peach fuzz' on my upper lip, especially when I didn't shave for two weeks and I looked like I had one of those skinny mustaches some mexicans have Lol. I'll be 16 in two weeks and I have a full goatee (well had, I trimmed it a little short friday night) I dont mind it now, especially when I can pass for 18. Kinda funny going to the movies with a bunch of freinds and have to buy their tickets for em so they can get in...even know they are older.

RE: Why can't we dicipline our kids anymore.
I think alot of people get abuse and punishment mixed up. When I was a little kid, if me or my siblings did something wrong and mom caught us it was a couple smacks of the yard stick to your azz and a time out,if it was real bad or my dad caught us in the act then we got a coupls 'smacks to the butt, a lesson of why it was wrong and then time out. If we cussed, smack on the mouth and some vinegar. I'm almost 16 and can honestly say Im GLAD my parents had a strict punishment clause. I will admit I'm not angel but just thinking about it, if my parents only put us in the corner for a couple mins Im not sure how bad I would be now. And I'm gonna make sure my kids are punished the same way, reguardless of the laws at that time. My oldest sisters, kids are ingrates at times and take advantage of their mom all the time. My sister used to pretty much punish her kids the same way we were punished but now that both of her kids are pre-teens and my sister divorced their dad its all went down the drain. Their spoiled to the core, if their mom punishes them to an extent of laying a hand on them then they call their dad and he threatens to take her to court and get full custody. Worse part is they dont even see how much its effects their mom, shes a full time teacher and going to college at night trying to make sure she wont be flat on her butt again if something happens with her current husband.

RE: Matrix 5 5th scale 4wd Gas power!!!
ORIGINAL: SAVAGEJIM Well, Cenchain should adopt the X-Dyno as it is engineered, (designed and calculated) to read off as true of HP as possible. It is designed and sold by a licensed professional engineer and he even designed it to use an SAE correction station. Talk to Cenchain Corp. Office and urge them to start using X-Dyno; more and more people in the RC industry are starting to use it, and not just some manufacturers, even well known and reputable professional engine modders back their work with X-Dyno. Ed Bridges being one of them. EB used to use a different dyno when he wrote engine reviews for RC Driver, but when he went on his own into the professional nitro engine modding business, he bought an X-Dyno an began using that. Other companies that I can think of that have tested their engines on X-Dyno are Axial, Trinity, and others that slip my mind. When it comes down to it, a horespower is a fixed unit for measuring. That means a fixed amount force must must be applied for a fixed amount of distance over a fixed amount of time. And for X-Dyno, I believe the HP unit they use is whatever the SAE HP is, mechanical HP, which is what should be used. Other dynos could purposefully measure the wrong HP, like the german HP (what is called PF) or a metric HP, which are incorrect. X-Dyno measures and reports the correct SAE HP taht we are familiar with. And it corrects for them too. Other dynos sometimes downright lie because the maker of the dyno and/or the operator of the dyno want to report a false HP amd make everyone think they mean SAE HP when it measures the wrong kind or it simply does not measure correctly because the design was purposefully flayed to inflate the numbers. This is why so many of us say to have the engin tested on X-Dyno. And Nitrodyn actually has a database of nitro engines tested on one dyno, X-Dyno, so as to rule out these wrong or purposefullly misleading outputs of other dynos.
Thanks for explaining it so I dont have to! [:D] AB mods also uses the X-dyno. If CEN used a x-dyno setup they would be taken alot more seriously as a racer and basher company and would most likely profit more, you cant get anymore accurate then the x-dyno IMO. Sorry about the thread jack Foxy and OP.
