RE: Help with an old truck
The Tracker shared a lot of the same parts with the original Ultima series of vehicles. If you need parts check out ebay, there's usually a good bit of parts for the vintage Kyosho stuff.

RE: official hotbodies lsp thread
I have thought about it too, but it will be fairly expensive. You would need Lightning buggy A-arms, cvd's, turnbuckles, spur gear, shock towers and shocks. SC8 body, wheels, tires, and find a way to mount up the fr/rr bumpers as well. I'm going to try it after I get my D8T using the LSP-R shocks and towers but I dont think it will work with the shorter a-arms.

RE: official hotbodies lsp thread
It is a RTR Pro so it came with the aluminum a-arms other than the buggy upper arm conversion and the 17mm hubs its pretty much stock now. I had a Go-Tech 5 port .21 in it for a while but to be honest the stock .26 is a pretty decent easy to tune mill. I dont bash at all I only race and on the club level the LSP can be very competetive, unless your local track is the Dirt or Rev..lol Here is a list of everything I used to do the 22 degree hub, buggy upper arm and 17mm conversion. Upper A-arm conversion 22 degree conversion. Part# 8011-1 22 degree C-hubs 8134 Screw and ball for steering 8012 Upper susp pins 8116 Suspension holder 8158 Plastic A-arms KYOIS053 Kyosho ball ends 8003 Lightning bumper 17mm conversion SWK3177 front axle stubs 8065 rear axle stubs Kyosho Kanai 3 17mm hubs(free from a friend)

RE: >Project - TEK18X2SE - 2wd - 1:18<
What is the wheelbase? I really like the look of an 1/18th 2wd buggy, I have several Mini-T's laying around and may order up a Slider chassis to do a conversion.

RE: OFFICIAL HOT BODIES LIGHTNING STADIUM PRO/PRO-R THREAD
ORIGINAL: Jckrue29 Thanks for getting back to me. The reason I was asking about the ball ends was because yours didn't seem to be offset in your picture. They're the ones at the end of the upper arms correct?
No, they are the steering tierod ends and I hadnt yet installed them in the picture. They replace the stock ones that have been notched.

RE: OFFICIAL HOT BODIES LIGHTNING STADIUM PRO/PRO-R THREAD
Sorry it took me so long to get back on this, I've been out of town for last week or so. 8116 is the part that I used(black plastic), if you bought your LSP new you should already have it, it was included in the box. And yes 8005-1 is the front upper arm I used, I did have to grind about 5mm off of the tierod to get -2 deg caster up front. KYOIS053, are offset and allow for more steering throw without rubbing on the back side of the wheels.
ORIGINAL: crazy4wdracer Looks Great! You might also want to convert to buggy shock towers. What powerplant are you running?
I put the stock .26 back in it until my GoTech .21 5p shows up in a couple of weeks, I have the King headz shock towers for it but I need to get the buggy shocks for them to work correctly, I may try the HB 16mm BB's whenmy LHS can get them in.

RE: official hotbodies lsp thread
Let's keep this thread at the top, I know there are a few still racing the LSP-R and many more just bashing. After a couple of years away from r/c I've decided to get back into it. I started looking at new truggies and really didnt want to spend the cash for an 8t, Mugen, St-RR, etc..... So, I dusted of the old LSP and ordered a few upgrades to make it more competetive, here is what I ordered. Upper A-arm conversion 22 degree conversion. Part# 8011-1 22 degree C-hubs 8134 Screw and ball for steering 8012 Upper susp pins 8116 Suspension holder 8158 Plastic A-arms KYOIS053 Kyosho ball ends 8003 Lightning bumper 17mm conversion SWK3177 front axle stubs 8065 rear axle stubs Kyosho Kanai 3 17mm hubs(free from a friend)

RE: Hyper 8 truggy
It's so much closer to the Hyper 7 than the 8 that it will be easy to convert a hyper 7 to a hyper ST when parts are available. It pretty much is a hyper 7 with a longer chassis and a-arms.
ORIGINAL: gtr you can consider HN X1CRT RTR. http://www.jamminproducts.com/index.htm
You musta missed that part where he said " I cant dish out $500". Look at the HB Lightning Stadium RTR.. ultimatehobbies has them for $379.00 w/ free shipping. Cheapest way to get into truggys and its better than a Mayhem ST or GS SUT for less money.
ORIGINAL: Wizz Kid hey just curious, whats the difference between the LSP chassis and the 7075 one?
Nothing really the LSP is 6061 aluminum and the LSP-R is 7075. No one really had a problem with the stock chassis bending so its not really needed but you know some people upgrade everything. [:D]
