RE: hobao hyper gpx4 new foam tyres
also remember that 26mm fit on the front and 30mm fit in the rear, so you cant really swap them. get like a lower shore(softer tire) for the rear and a higher shore(harder tire) on the front. it worked best this way when i has driving one of this.

RE: what needs to be done.
well the only thing that i can tell you about the engine is to open it up from the backplate and from the top and inspect it and then lub it with after run oil. turn the flywheel afterwards and see if the engine is turning as it should. if it does it will probably fire up. before firing it richen the mixture by one turn and start the car up let it idle and then check the engine (hear it) if its working ok. as for the tires i would recomend to you to buy some foam tires get your self some 42 shore tires. hope this helps

RE: Question about 2 Speed
no that screw is used to adjust and you do not screw it all the way.but to be acurate the first time screw down both those two site screws and then back them off by 2 turns and see how it goes. if it is still not shifting then you continoue to unscrew half a turn and see how it goes. hope this helps

RE: Question about 2 Speed
you set them from stop to wot and adjust the side screews on the shoe not the middle one, you set it up to shift where you hear that the engine needs another gear to breath

RE: OFFICIAL!!! Kyosho Evolva
i am no expert in this 1/8 scale but as i know you do not use the brake almost at all!![X(] or if you will be using it adjust it from your transmiter at the point where the car does not spin out. ask some of your fellow racers at the track for some tips on how to drive and how to set up a car. my suggestion is use softer front tires than the rear so that the car will attack the corner and get in without using the brakes. hope this helps

both ways are correct and effective. i personaly clean them with soap. i fill up a "buget"(dont know the actual word in english that i would like to say) with water and lots of soap. throw in the filters leave them there and with a little bit of help with my hands all the dirt will be gone.

well why not!! if there is enough foam on the tire to get it to the diameters that you want it, it will still work.

RE: how important is it to true your tires?
yes i can tell you that it is very important when racing at a profesional level. you need different trued tires for the qualifings ,so that you can be fast and take TQ and different trued tires for finals as you need the car to be more constant throughout the final. that is what i do, but do not do it everytime just on race days when going for just practice i just use whatever i have and mix and match them to get a good analogy between the front and rear wheel split.

RE: How to set ABS ? and a little newbie question
ok abs!! i have tried that on my kopropo ex10. its a fairly nice option to have but do not use it any more, if i need abs i just do it by myself[:)]. ok set it up as you manual says. and try it out and see what the servo is doing. keep the brakes on , the servo should brake normaly and then it will rapidly start moving back and forth, that is your abs. and i guese that you can set it up as to when to start activating and stuff like that. first try out to see if the abs mode is working and then play with the setings around to suit you, hope this helps[;)]

if you are asking for the fastest engine then check out the murnan modified novarossi 353 or the m353r. if you are not looking for a moded engine then the new novarossi 353 09 is very fast.
