RE: battries for cx
[quote]ORIGINAL: zenchal26 new to elec, wondering about the batteries. the cx comes with 7.4v 800mah 2cell batts. Can you use 7.4v 2cell batts with a higher mah rating. will it hurt anything, or just give you longer run time? [/quote] Will give you longer fly, but the battery may be too big, [link=http://www.4-rc-helicopter.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=10&id=53&artlang=en]you should get 1 extra original battery[/link]

RE: why is this so cheap
If you like to start the rc helicopter, you can consider the Hirobo RXB, [link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=14]HB Lama 2 / Blade CX[/link], or the [link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=15]Walkera No. 5 / Housefly[/link] THe hirobo xrb is the best one. HB Lama 2 / Blade CX is good to start with too.

RE: aluminum lower rotor hub for blade cx
I do not think you need one. Just be careful when you fly, it should be ok. I have the HB esky lama 2 (similar to Blade CX) for more than 2 months now, and the [link=http://www.4-rc-helicopter.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=10&id=54&artlang=en]only thing I broke are the main blades, and the tail (but I fixed that with the super glue - this guide show how to fix that).[/link] Other parts still good as new.

RE: New Walkera 22e... I love it!!!!! Goodby Blade CP
The 22E RC helicopter is not bad for its low price. But the quality of the Walkera electronics is not as good as the Blade CP or ESky. So it is very important to pay attention on the temperatue of the electronics ([link=http://www.4-rc-helicopter.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=5&id=66&artlang=en]You can refer to this reference guide[/link]).

If you are begiiner, you should get the esky lama 2 - as it is the good beginner rc helicopter - [link=http://www.linknety.com/modevideos/demo/zoom.php?id=14]Lama 2 flying video [/link] The hirobo rxb is also a good choice (but more expensive)

The ESky Lama V3 is same as the Lama 2 (the V3 only change the color and with a very small modification only - [link=http://www.china-magic3.com/picture.php?cat=13&image_id=128]you can check the pictures here to see the difference here[/link]). if you want a Trex, I think it is better to get the motor you know as the price is expensive. So you should consider some of the well know brand motor. Example: Hacker Brushless motor is good one

If the motor get too hot, you definitely need to take a break to let the motor cool down, otherwise you may burn out something. Heat sink will be helpful as suggested by others
