RC Airplane in old Knight Rider TV Show
the movie with clint eastwood was one of the last dirty harry flicks it was called The Dead Pool What alot of people don't know is Rc is a big part of Hollywood besides the airplanes and cars you see on screen their are alot of rc you don't see my favorite movie with rc was in the movie cliffhanger some people don't know but at times the helicopter was a radio control replica until i saw a show on how they made the movie and special effects i was impressed because i never realized at times there was a rc helicopter being used thats my 2 cents

LT-40 stabilizer help
I have finished building my fuselage and wing of my lt-40 kit i just finished gluing my stabilizer together i followed my instructions to the letter i have a very flat work table and built it over the plans now after the glue dries instructions say to sand the stabilizer on both sides. All the leading edges are 5/16"x1/2" balsa and the ribs are 5/16"x5/16" sq so when the glue dried and i removed my stabilizer from the work table the bottom that was against the table is flush all the way around. All the ribs and the stab center section and stab L.E. joiner on the top are about 1/16" above the leading edges now i was wondering should i sand my stabilizer flush on the top and bottom i'm having problems figuring it out be cause the instructions say only to sand the stab to smooth out all the glue joints and not to sand more then 1/32" under the original 5/16" thickness well if every piece was exactly 5/16" why is there the 1/16" above the leading edges helppp pleaseeee what should i do?

Here is a Picture
My right side of the firewall is a little farther forward the the left so i would presume that would put left thrust on the engine and of course i don't want' that i think the difference is a little less then 1/16 of a inch i think i glued my fuselage doubler just a hair back on the left side how do i fix this thanks     P.S. Webcam picture so not the best quality

Help With LT-40 Kit
i have finished the wing and i am at the point of gluing my fuselage together i have the rubber bands on it with all the formers in place the top and bottom now on the instructions it say to start gluing it at former #2 and after that move to former 1 and 3 now with me carefully looking at all the formers and pieces to see how the fit and make sure there are no wild bends or curves in the fuselage looking directly at Former 1 this is of course were i mount my engine mounts to and engine Former 1 is not perfectly squared looking directly from above because i know wood bends and twists with moisture temperature etc... how do i get it to be squared up in the fuselage without the engine mount tilted so i don't to much left or right engine thrust???

I want my TT Pro .46
I recently ordered some stuff and the TT pro .46 was one of the items. I received everything else no problem no engine though i checked the invoice and it said it was on back order i sent a e-mail to the place i ordered from and got this response. "Dear Customer I am sorry about the backorder, this item has been out of stock with Thunder Tiger for some time. I am not sure at this time when we will be receiving them, but will send it to you as soon as it arrives" Does anybody know what might be going on with ace or the manufacture of the TT pro .46 engines i sent ace a email and never got a response hope someone might know whats up cause i checked tower and their web site says limited quantities and another dealer is out of stock too i just really want my engine since i put out the cash for it already and i don't want to sit around forever with a finished plane and no engine to fly.. Thanks

Good luck with chief compared to tower ?
I'am getting ready to order some of my stuff tomorrow i wonder how good chief aircraft customer service and delivery times are i like there prices and the shipping costs over tower hobbies i live in Illinois and of course i have to pay tax for what i'am ordering the tax alone is gonna cost me a extra 35.00 bucks but if to many people have had problems with chief i will pay the tax and get better service etc... wondered what you all thought who've used them... thanks     http://www.chiefaircraft.com/
