RE: Headlights/taillights
How did you come up with the resistor values?

RE: Headlights/taillights
Sure, I'd like to see the placement pics. What will using different size resistors do to the light output.

RE: Headlights/taillights
Did you get your parts at radio shack? If so what type of resistors did you get? They have so many that I am not sure which ones to get. Thanks!

RE: Need a pic
it looked like there was a gap between the engine and cooling head and i can see the brass spacer or whatever it is. I just wanted to make sure that this is what it it suppose to look like. It is the stock ntc3+ engine.

Need a pic
Could someone post a pic of their ntc3+ engine from underneath the cooling head. I took mine apart to check the internals, and want to make sure that I have gotten it put back together correctly. Also is the pull starter hard to replace? The string pulled out of mine, I believe that the spring is sprung. I have been looking at the manual for all the parts I need, I just wondered how hard it is to replace. Thanks

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
Thanks! Is there a limit on how much I can move the exhaust in? How far does it need to be away from the fuel line and the fuel tank?

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but since it is the ntc3 forum and I have searched, I'll post away. I went and got a BMW M3 hpi body for the ntc3 but am having an issue. The exhaust seems to be right agains the body, not the tip but the body of the exhaust. Is there anyway to prevent this, seeing that I have already reemed the body mount holes. Or will this be a non-issue? I don't want to melt the body. Thanks!

9.6v charger for 7.2v packs
I was given a 9.6v charger for nicd and nimh batteries, and want to know if I can charge a 7.2v batt pack with it safely if I change the plug ends to match the packs. If so do I need to put a volt meter on it for monitoring or will the pack blow?

Ntc3+ and Stripping Screws
Maybe someone can help a newb out. I have a ntc3 with a little problem. I stripped the spur gears, so I started tearing the car down to replace them. As it turns out it seems as if every other screw wants to strip the head on me. I have tried the allen wrenches that the car came with, a craftsman set and a set of bondhus balldriver tips and still no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions. I plan on heading to hobbytown tommorrow for more parts, is there anything I should get to help make it easier or parts to replace while I have the drive shaft and such out.

RE: Breaking in a new Engine
Richen the high speed or the low speed needle? I haven't been able to get a temp gun yet and if i put a dab of water on the cooling head, it seldom seems to sizzle away. Would it be wise to readjust everything back to factory and try again?

Breaking in a new Engine
Recently got a nitro tc3+ and have put around 10 - 12 tanks of 20% fuel through it yet can never get it to run right. I followed the directions with the kit, have reset all the needles and readjusted twice. I can go easy on the gas to go, but after it goes to the point of full gas it bogs down. If you smash the gas it just bogs down. Any ideas or any websites that you can point me to to help me get this thing running right. If you don't want to reply here, please email me at dktimmy@gmail.com Thanks in advance.
