RE: TROY BUILT MODELS
Extreme Flight passes on their shipping cost with no additional markup. I recently received a 78" Extra from them and the shipping was $120. UPS I believe. Cant tell you if TBM is adding to their shipping or not- but the prices the shipping companies are charging is very high now and TBM might not be giving you "the business" as much as you might think.

One issue with Facebook is that you have to have a Facebook account to participate- it's probably inevitable but not everyone has or wants a Facebook account.

RE: Citabria/Decathlon
My understanding is that the Citabria has a flat bottom airfoil while the Decathlon has a semi symmetrical wing that is about a foot and a half shorter and as a result is more aerobatic and more capable of "outside" maneuvers.

RE: 36% ultimate bipe
Normally I don't like when someone comes on RCU and blasts a manufacturer- and even here we are only hearing his side of the story (there's always two sides. right?). But if what he is saying is true it sounds like he's been trying to get resolution for a year and hasn't gotten any. That's a long time and i sympathise.

RE: F3A World Scores
Missed Stefan Kaiser from Liechtenstein at #8 (added below) I know he's not there but if Roland were flying and presumably in the top 10 or so, Liechtenstein (pop approx 36,000) would be right in it for the team trophy.... RE: Over Heating??? Ugh
Have you run it with the spinner off or on? Wondering if you are using a spinner that doesn't have an opening for air to flow through- doing so may provide more cooling.

RE: Hobby King Refunds
+1 on Hobbypartz.com I have purchased a bunch of batteries - Gens Ace- mid-size and larger (4s 2200 and 5s 4000 & 5300) - got them in about a week and they work great. Very happy with them so far- haven't had to return anything yet, though...

RE: Need Lustrekote Blue Metallic Spray Paint
Dave- sounds like you have a nice project there that you have a lot of pride in. I'll offer a suggestion- McHenry's paints in Frederick will custom match and put in a spray can automotive paint for you. I have used their paints this way on three planes and they turned out great- matched the covering perfectly. I have not done metallic but it's worth checking. They can do single stage or two stage (base + clear coat). Single stage looks better than I have ever seen from Lusterkote and the two stage looks even better- professional with the nice glossy finish! I think they charged me like $15 for the paint, single or two stage. Clear coat is like another $18- but I think the difference in finish is night and day better than you'll get with Lusterkote. Be sure to get one of their spray masks and be careful with the auto paint if you go that way. Dave

Nice job, Andrew. If I can offer a suggestion, I've found it helpful to know what frequency people are on- especially now with 2.4 so prevelent, it's nice to know where any potential conflicts are on 72. You can talk about it during the pilots meetings.
